Here's an analogy. I used to go to a theater in the bottom of the Galleria here in Dallas. It wasn't a great theater but it was SO 80's, I couldn't get enough of it. Unfortunately because it isn't a great theater, I'd wind up seeing a lot of movies elsewhere. I wanted it to exist, but I didn't really want to watch movies there.

Tom Sawyer Island is kind of like that for me. I don't want them to replace it, but I'd say I skip over it more trips than not.

I would like to say that, Tom Sawyer Island is a full-of-fun place. I have been there first time in my second trip of WDW and had a memorable time. I took some beautiful view's pictures from the Island thus if you want to go there, don't forget the camera.

Best Regards,

Haven't been there in a long time, Serenity, but it's really fun to explore. As adults without kids, it CAN seem a bit kid-friendly, but if you go over first thing in the morning, you should have the place largely to yourself (most folks don't get over there until later in the day). I think it's worth a look if you've never been!

We've never actually done this. Is there a mad rush to try to find it?
