Towel Animals - Let's see 'em!

I haven't seen this before on the boards so if I missed it, just let me know or point me to the thread...but I would love to see pics of towel animals from Mousekeeping!

I always look forward to seeing - sometimes we get them, sometimes we do not. This is one we had from 2010 that made me laugh.

Here are some we came back to on our last trip.

I think this was suppose to be a mouse but it looked more like a rat lol.

Then we came back to a turtle

I wonder if what you get depends on where you stay cause we've had the same thing every year...A mouse and mickey's head

I think every resort does the Mickey head. They used our leis a few times at the Poly as well as the towels.

We had butterflies when we stayed at the Animal Kingdom.

I was told by a guest services cast member that I spoke with at AKL that we were welcome to take them home if they were in a "travel friendly" form. That they are a "gift". Now... I'm not sure that's official policy, but it's the answer that I was given when I asked. I was not charged for them post-check out. Take that for what you paid for it.

Would it be okay if I shared towel animals from a DCL cruise? It's Disney...

New here and still learning the rules and scope of interest (all things Disney or JUST wdw). Don't want to go too off the path if that's frowned upon here. Let me know. cool

Aww, I love that! I may have to make me a butterfly for the bathroom here at home.

Thanks for sharing,

Cool! Thanks. I didn't want to vere off on to DCL if that was not welcomed. biggrin Oh, and Kristen K., I thought I recognized that desk in the background! awesome

I saved all of our towel animals throughout our last cruise... by the end I had a towel menagerie. clapping

One of my favorites was when we came back to our stateroom midday to change and saw this hanging from the center of the room, since, well, there wasn't a tree in there I suppose. So fun!

/\ Cute! I love saving them during our visits as well, lining them all up. My husband always comments, "We can't disturb the the zoo."
