Treehouse Villas - anyone stayed at?

Has anyone stayed at the Treehouse Villas in Saratoga Springs? If so, what are your thoughts? Thinking about staying at one with some family members. It will be total of 10. There will be 4 adults and 6 kids from 13 yrs to 5 yrs old.

They look really nice. Only thing I would not like is that you have to catch a bus from the Treehouses to Saratoga then get on the destination bus of choice and then to go back, you have to catch the Treehouse bus. I think all the pools and dining is at Saratoga but that shouldn't be a problem because I'm pretty sure the Treehouse comes with a kitchen.

We checked them put for our last family vacation but thought they were not big enough for 6 adults and a baby. You should take a look at them on Disneys website. They only sleep nine. I think they would be a bit small for that big of a group with older children. They only have a total of two queen size beds. One set of bunk beds, one queen size sofa sleeper and one twin size sleeper chair.

I haven't stayed in them but I have friends who have and loved them. That does seem like a lot of people to me to squeeze into it though.

I've toured one in the past and it felt very old and outdated. I would not mind staying there, but it is pricey or takes a lot of DVC points. I did not think it was worth it?

Honestly, I think the Fort Wilderness Cabins were nicer! (Don't know/remember how many they hold!)

Yeah , the treehouses that are there are not the original ones, they were totally replaced.

The FW cabins sleep 6 + a crib without any measurable privacy.

You could do two cabins at FW. That's what we did...adults slept on the murphy bed in the living room, kids in the bedroom, which had a full and bunk beds. My SIL and her family and MIL stayed in the cabin next door.
