WDWFG Superlatives

I think it might be fun for us to do a bunch of superlative polls--voting up "best WDW dessert," "best WDW evening entertainment," "best WDW hotel restaurant," etc... Hopefully you'll be interested, but even if you're not, hopefully you'll still vote! It'll help the Mrs. and myself while we're planning (ADRs in 26 days!).

Any ideas for superlative polls we can create?

Per SpaceAce's suggestion, here's the list! --Admin

What do you most look forward to?

Poll: Best Way to Beat the Heat

What's the best WDW scent?

What's the Best WDW Sound?

Poll: Best Nightlife

Poll: Best WDW Thrill Ride

Poll: Best Signature Dining

Poll: Best Ride for Relaxing

Poll: Best Ride Theme Music

Best Water Ride

You can make these pretty obscure.

Like - "best sound" heard at Disney World.

For me, that is the sound of the boat horns on the Lagoon when I'm sitting either behind the Polynesian or the Contemporary.

Love that sound!

Great idea. A lot of us know WDW so well that obscure stuff will probably be more interesting anyway. The "senses" idea is great--"best scent," "best feel/touch"--very cool.

Best sound...hmm...now I'm trying to think of mine. Maybe the sound of the MK train whistle, the sound of the Haunted Mansion organ, or when I first hear "How do ya do?" on Splash Mountain.

Great idea. I'll go create some threads. Maybe the admin(Drunk could connect them into a "directory thread" like the restaurant ones.

New ideas welcome!

I'd have to say Soarin'

You're not exactly alone...but it's hard to top the romance of gliding through the rivers and mountains of California.

Very good point; I'll have to make this into a superlative!

Best sound, if this counts as a "sound", would be the Monorail's "Please stand clear of the door. Por Favor Mantengase Alejado de las Puertas."

I'd say I most look forward to entering through the magic kingdom gates to see the castle and main street.
Best Way to Beat the Heat: Splash Mountain!
Best Scent: Hmm...tough one...I'd say one of the french bakeries at Epcot
Best Sound: The fireworks (any)!
Best nightlife: I would say fireworks or swimming
Best Thrillride: Expedition Everest!
Water Ride: Splash Mountain
Best Ride for Relaxing: Kilimanjaro Safari

Best Water Ride

I most look forward to our once-a-trip journey around the World Showcase.
Best Way to Beat the Heat: I'd have to agree with Andreas here - Splash Mountain. It's great because of the water and because you stay indoors for most of the ride.
Best WDW Scent: Definitely Kringla Bakeri Og Cafe! I love the wonderful sweet smell you get when you walk in there.
Best WDW Sound: Not sure if this counts, but I love the Star Wars music played in HS during Star Wars Weekends.
Best Nightlife: We never do anything at night, since we stay off-property and we go as a family. Sorry!
Best WDW Thrill Ride: Expedition Everest. I love the drop and the section where you go backwards.
Best Signature Dining Experience: Sadly, I've never been to a Signature restaurant.
Best Ride for Relaxing: Mickey's Philharmonic. I love to sit down and enjoy the Disney movie scenes and music.
Best Ride Theme Music: I'd have to choose Star Tours for this one, though it doesn't one have a specific theme song.
Best Water Ride: Not really a ride, but I love Typhoon Lagoon's wave pool. Those 6-foot waves are so much fun!
