What Disney World food favorite have you not tried?

I haven't had one either. I used to love them an the Renaissance fair here, but once I learned how many calories they had I couldn't get myself worked up to try one in WDW.

Since Lizzy finally got around to trying a dole whip I thought I'd see if anyone else is missing a fan favorite from their resume.

I have never tried a funnel cake at WDW for example.

I have never tried one of those large pretzels that are sold all over WDW. Upon further thought I have also never tried one of those frozen chocolate covered bananas.
One thing I will NEVER try are those smoked Ostrich legs they sell, You see I don't think anything that size comes from a turkey, and a cooked turkey is NOT pink. I know they are supposed to be smoked, BUT has anyone ever seen pink smoke? eek laugh

I agree with Vettelover, NO turkey/ostrich legs for me. However, I have had both the chocolate covered bananas (YUMMY) and the pretzels (not worth the purchase). We live near Philly though so we are use to Philly soft pretzels and trust me they do not compare.

The turkey legs there are way too salty for me. I usually love them, but I ended up throwing away half of mine last time I had one.

The chocolate bananas are AMAZING.

I've never had a Mickey ice cream pop.

Ya know - in reading through this and other posts, I guess I have had most of the snacks. I haven't done the turkey leg either, though. The salt thing is a factor...and it just feels...so....Fred Flintstone...walking around, gnawing on a joint of meat. But hey, if it's your thing, what the heck - go for it!

Confession time: I have had the turkey leg! It was ok. I won't get another one though. It's not very Disney-esque. Haha.

I keep meaning to have one of those Itzakadoozie Ice Pop thingies, but every time I get to the ice cream cart I go classic and get a Mickey Ice Cream sandwich.

And it took us 5 trips before i found out about the Dole Whip and tried one! El-yumm-o!

I agree with the comments about the pretzels - they are horrible. The only ones worth getting for me are from Wetzel's Pretzels in DTD. The park ones stink.

Fun question! Those cream cheese pretzels!! I think I'm missing out...

The Itzakadoozie swirly bars are fun, JeffC! Highly recommended.

With our (fairly) unanimous feelings about turkey legs here, this struck me as funny:

WDW you are barking up the wrong tree with this little circle of friends. All those poor little legless turkeys...just sitting around... wink

I barely ever see anyone eating turkey legs in the parks. I wonder who's eating them all.

Dave tried a turkey leg once..he said it tasted like salted ham. He ate about half and threw it away..he said it wasn't awful..it just wasn't what he expected. I had a bite and it grossed me out.

I like the Turkey legs, have not had one in a while though. Last trip we saw a groups of men that were together all sitting in a row, about ten of them, all chowing down on turkey legs, that was funny.

Seriously, that sounds like a great picture. I'm imagining them all eating in silence just focusing on their turkey legs.

Turkey legs require quite a bit of focus!
