What if (edition 16).....

What if you had to choose between doing the Hoop De Do Revue or the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Poly. Which would you choose?

Oh dang........ that is tough. Do I reserve the right to change at anytime? LOL

Ok... for now.... Hoop De Do Revue. I havent done the other which is what is making it hard. But loved Hoop De Do Revue when I was a kid. It could be different for me now that im grown up... so yeah.... Hoop De Do Revue for now... lol

I would have to go with the Spirit of Aloha. We have done both. For us once was enough for the Hoop De Do. However, if you have kids I think I would go with Hoop De Do. We notice a lot of people with kids leaving right after the meal for the Spirit of Aloha. Not much in the real show to keep the kids interest.

I haven't done either, but I think I'd go with Spirit of Aloha. The dancing sounds exciting, and i'm not into "hoe-downs"

This depends..does the liquor flow as freely at Aloha as it does at HDD? Oh that Sangria!

But I would have to say SoA just because we have done HDD before..and while we loved it I'd like to try them both!

I haven't done either, either! Y'all who've done either - or both - how would you sell me on them? What do you love about them?

I actually had to ask the reservations person about that exact thing a few days ago, according to him yes the Sangria will be in bountiful supply.

Well that is excellent news.

I don't want to look a gift horse or anything...but why do they do that there? (The free alcohol?) Any ideas?

maybe to get adults to want to go? I mean.. people might think it's really geared to kids, and while it IS kid appropriate my guess is that they dont "get" most of the jokes
