What time?

Would you do liberty tree at 6:25 or 7 for a 9 pm light parade? We like to eat and then sit and wait for a good spot. What time to people usually claim their spots? We will have lunch at 1 so I'm concerned about super hungry family but also concerned about having to wait to be seated.

I think either time should be fine. Where are you planning to watch the ELP from?

I agree either time should be fine. Liberty Sq is a good vantage point but when to grab your real estate depends on what time of year.

Depends on the date this is happening. I've worked at Liberty Tree and I've been a performer in the night parade. I can tell you if there is a second parade that night, go for the later seating as the second parade is always less crowded, sometimes even kind of empty around Liberty Square. If there is only one parade, do the earlier seating. If you can't find a spot directly in front of Liberty Tree tavern after dinner.. walk toward Frontierland to find a spot to watch the parade as it will be less crowded than walking toward the Castle Hub or Main Street. Hope this helps a little!
