What to watch before you go?

As I am starting to plan my Disney World trip, I am listening to Disney music at work, which has been really fun. It got me thinking that we (my boyfriend and I) should start watching some Disney movies to prepare!

So my question is, what Disney movies should we be sure to watch before we go? I am sure he hasn't seen any Disney movies for several years (I keep pretty current on them, though)!

Swiss Family Robinson, you can explore their treehouse in Adventureland.

Other faves:

Peter Pan
Toy Story
Dumbo
Lady and the Tramp
Aristocats
Robin Hood
101 Dalmations
The Rescuers
The Little Mermaid
Tangled
Cinderella
Alice in Wonderland

Tarzan and The Jungle Book will help you identify some of the characters you might see at Animal Kingdom. Finding Nemo is prevalent in Epcot. Definitely the Toy Story movies for Hollywood Studios. Then the classics at Magic Kingdom like Peter Pan, Cinderella, Beauty and The Beast, and Winnie the Pooh.

It's funny you posed this question because I was just thinking to myself what I can watch with my girlfriend to get her excited and psyched for our trip in July. And this is what I have so far:

Pinocchio
Beauty & The Beast
Lady & The Tramp
Lion King
Cinderella
Aladdin
Fantasia 2000
Song of the South (2010)
Classic Cartoon Favorites (vol. 1-12)

PS: Song of the South for Splash Mountain, in case you didn't know...lol

This isnt exactly Disney movies like the others... but I watch these to get myself prepared for Disney.

Its Disney Parks. Has some cool tips, but if anything... shows ya a lot to get excited for Disney! They are on Netflix if you have Netflix.

Ah yeah...but the crappy part is that I'm trying to surprise my girlfriend with this WDW trip. So I can't watch it on instant play (Netflix) because the "recently watched" is right on top when we watch stuff on Netflix on my tv. And there's no way to delete the "recently watched". Soooo I can't watch it lol. confused

My DH and I are leaving in about 37 days for WDW and started our Disney movie nights about 3 weeks ago. So far we've watched:

Mary Poppins
Classic Goofy cartoons
Sleeping Beauty
Cars
Lady & The Tramp
Peter Pan
The Incredibles

I look forward to it every week. My DH actually got me into the Disney movies. He had so many of them when we started dating. I thought it was odd at first, but now it's one of the things I love most about him! muchlove I can't wait to add to our collection clapping

I'd say any Disney film you can get your hands on! We might be 190 days out but I'm already making a point of watching at least one a week....though I think I'd do that even if I didn't have a trip planned lol!

How about ordering (if you havn't already) and watching some of the planning DVDs? We always watch the most recent one right before we go!
