What is your "Dream Port"?

If you could schedule an itinerary for Disney Cruise Line, what would it be? How many nights would you sail? Which ports would you have to hit? Does DCL already book your dream trip? Are you planning on taking it?

I would really love to sail on one of the Alaskan Cruises, it just hasn't fit into either our budget or schedule yet. Hopefully some day it will.

I would love to take a Caribbean cruise and my husband wants to go to Alaska but right now we are waiting for our children to be a little older first.

I'd love for the DCL to sail from Ft Lauderdale, to Europe, or from any port in the USA, to Australia (and vice versa)! I love long trips. Can you imagine how much time you would have, and how relaxing it would be, if you sailed on a cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to Sydney!

That sounds amazing, EvilDuckQueen! Holland America does grand voyages like that, and I dream of going on one!

Kristen - great question! I have always dreamed of cruising around Norway, but I don't know if the Disney Ships are small enough to do it. I'd also enjoy New England into Canada, or Alaska. I'm sure there are other places I'm not thinking of, but those spring to mind.

I just caught a glimpse of some of NCL's cruises and I have found my dream cruise! I'm not sure that I would be able to pass it up if it was on a Disney ship.

16 Days, Down the Eastern Seaboard, NCL is calling it the "Colonial America" trip. It starts up in Canada and hist just about every historical post all the way down the coast until it ends in Miami. Sounds like a dream trip to me!

After cruising on NCL I think I've come up with a new "dream" cruise. I guess that this would fall under "Western Caribbean" and I think that it could be done in 7 nights. Walt loved New Orleans and in a fairly dirt, gritty, adult sort of way the French Quarter is Disneyesque, plus there's enough child friendly things to do as shore excursions for kids.

I'm thinking Port Canaveral, Key West, New Orleans, Sea Day, Costa Maya, Sea Day, Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral.

Would you book that?

I'd do that as a Disney cruise in a heartbeat!

Hi again,

I know that I haven't posted in a long time. Dream ports....

Because I often travel alone; for the simple reason that if I waited for someone to go with me, I would never leave home, cruising would be rather expensive.

I would love to go to Alaska, Hawaii, or on a river cruise (Europe or USA).

My "Dream" cruise is one that Disney is doing next year!!! Greece/Turkey/Spain/France/Italy!! I am in LOVE with the ports they are visiting and that is one that I'm tentatively planning to do (finances/airfare, you know the little details....LOL)

Hawaii is another that I would like to do. I really enjoy the Caribbean Islands (Eastern Caribbean is my preference) but these other locations are on my bucket list.

I had to cancel our Mediterranean cruise. I'd really like Disney to go to Asia. My Dream Ports would be Japan and Hong Kong and several places in between. Depending on which ports they went to you could do a Tokyo Disney or Hong Kong trip like the NY cruises. That would be awesome biggrin
