What's the Thing You're Most Looking Forward to Eating On Your Next WDW trip?

The other day on DFB I saw that the Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge is now doing fresh made to order doughnuts. My family will tell you that I'm a sucker for fried dough in a bag that you shake up with sugar. ALmost in the same way I'm a sucker for a drink in a pineapple. I CAN NOT WAIT to try these new doughnuts!

Hmm...that's a tough one. If pushed for just one thing, I think I'd pick the luau roll from the Kona Cafe (spicy Kazan roll if Cali Grill was still open).

Narcoossee's. We ate there once a while back and it was good, but we never went back so it must not have impressed us much, but I want to give it another try and we are going with Tom & Del, so I'm anxious to eat there again.

I'm currently trying to lose weight and improve my fitness for my big trip.... and then I read about all your favorite foods and I wonder if there's really any point!

The hell with Space Mountain - give me some Dole Whip! And muffins! And Mickey waffles! And those zebra things... I don't know what they are but I'm sure I'm gonna like them.

Cue Homer-like drool and watch the pounds pile on yay

You do those things so that you CAN go crazy in Disney! It's nothing at all to walk 10 miles a day at WDW... many of us "train" for vacation!

Just having breakfast at the food court is something to look forward to for me.

The sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich or extremely good and cheap.

So Run Disney is really just a pretext to teach you how to get from Frontier Land to Tomorrow Land in time for your fastpass?

I'm with you Belinda. I have already told my friend that we have to go to the Writer's Stop to get the carrot cake cookie.

JoAnn I believe you will get your ressie for BOG. I was apprehensive about whether I would get mine and I had no problems.

I was most excited for Be Our Guest, but then everyone here RAVED about Palo on the Disney Dream so I'm now most excited about that! And I'm excited to try some of the drinks at the Flower and Garden festival too!

Be our Guest was divine. Dole whips with rum. So good!
I liked brown derby a lot too!

Super stoked for Cali Grill. And if I manage to set up the private dessert party.

Mostly, I'm super duper hoping the Golden Oak Outpost is open. It wasn't on our last trip and we were SO bummed.

Oh! And I'm cupcaking it up this trip. AND as many F&W booths as we can hit in a day and a half.

Several dessert items at the new Boardwalk Bakery. Check out the DFB review:

The dessert party was good. More for the view than the sweets. They were only ok. My daughter claims tinkerbelle was a tinker man! She had a front row view!

There are so many awesome food choices at WDW that it's hard to pick any one, or even any two or three, and say that's what I'm most looking forward to.

I do look forward to trying new things each trip. Ohana, the Cape May Cafe character breakfast, and Earl of Sandwich did not disappoint on our last trip. But I can't say what new things I'd like to try next time because I don't know when the trip will be or what it will involve.

If it's during Food and Wine, that's what I'll most look forward to.

If it's another time of year and hubby can come, I think I'd like to try that Wilderness Lodge restaurant everyone talks about, the one with the skillet meals (forget the name of the restaurant). I'd also like to try Be Our Guest for dinner and the Cape May Cafe dinner buffet. And the Flame Tree Barbecue at AK. We've never been and I've heard good things.

If hubby can't come along next trip and I don't go during the F&W Fest, I'll probably eat more counter service so I can get around the parks faster and save time for park hopping. Maybe BOG for lunch if the wait isn't too long? If it is, maybe that chicken waffle sandwich. And definitely some of the Epcot counter service places. I've eaten at very few of them and I'd like to try more.

Be Our Guest yes!!!

I was so sad when we had to cancel our ADR there because our plans changed. Now we'll hit it for lunch and stand in the crazy line. It's okay though... I'm still excited!

There are many things but Chef's Table at V&A as it is such a special thing to do and something we will talk about for many years to come, I am also looking forward to BOG and Peco's bill too! Oh and Dole Whip and Beaches and Cream!

I don't normally have a sweet tooth, but I read about caramel apples on the Disney food blog and for some reason I really want one! I would also like to try a lobster roll, which I think is on the counter service menus in a couple of places.

I have a list of everything I want to try and it seems to keep on growing! We managed to scratch a few things off the list last trip but I've probably added twice as many new things since then biggrin

I was telling my friend today that Boardwalk Bakery had reopened after their refurb. Her eyes lit up.....we will definitely be going there sometime during our trip to bring home lots of goodies. Oh and I will definitely be getting one of the sticky buns for sure!

rolling rolling rolling This is all too funny!!!!

Ohana, I like the noodles, oh, no, wait, the Bread Pudding!!!! Oh, no, wait, ALL OF IT! But wait, the Biergarten assortment! No, wait, those mini cheesecakes all over the place. No,

Oh, this could go on and on and on until my next trip.

This next trip I am really looking forward to Sci-Fi. I really think that we will all enjoy that atmosphere, it is right up our alley. I realize that there are mixed reviews, but I am looking forward to the trailers. I am THAT dork! Glasses

Dole Whip float!! Although I'm also looking forward to eating at BOG. I've already picked out what I'm going to order, when I go on OCTOBER 6!!! Nothing like planning ahead!! biggrin Oh! And the jalapeno stuffed pretzels at Animal Kingdom, along with a delightful African beer.

I have to ask: what's the fascination with Earl of Sandwich? We walked in, but the menu looked much like what you'd get at Panera. What am I missing?? Please, let me in on the secret!! I love food and don't want to miss out on something really yummy!!!
