What's your relationship with caffeine?

I found out they carry some of the type of green tea I like in the Japan store. As I've been drinking it I've come to the realization that I'm completely dysfunctional without it. I know it's not just the caffeine, but I know that's part of it. Do you guys need caffeine to work? Sugar? (I find sugar is good in the short term, but bad in the long).

Sugar does nothing to me ( as far as I can tell ) but caffeine is pretty important to me.
At home, it doesnt seem to be very important but while I am at work I def need it.
I've never been able to drink tea unless its bottled iced tea.....

I am totally dependent on it.....I have one in the morning & another in the mid afternoon. I try and not have any after 2 or 3 or else I won't sleep.

I don't drink it at all, ever. I do occasionally eat foods that naturally contain a small amount, such as chocolate.

The best I can tell it has no effect on me. At least, nothing I've ever noticed, and I don't go out of my way to avoid it or anything.

I drink very little caffeine. I used to have huge intake through diet sodas, but I largely got rid of those a few months back and haven't felt side effects.

I've heard it's good for you in small doses, though!

I was/am the same way. I was an addict and then once I got pregnant I quit cold turkey and barely had any until a few months ago when I started working again. Getting up at 5:45 without caffeine is hard!

We both have to have our coffee fix as soon as we get up. We each drink two cups in the morning. Then we have a decaf after dinner.
