Where do you "recharge" in the parks?

Where are the best indoor, air conditioned places to spend 15-20 mins recharging during a long park day?

I've been thinking about how much of a drag it would be that the Space Mountain refurb right now has Tomorrowland WEDWay-less. It's my "comfort ride" at MK. Even if everything else is packed, I can probably pretty much walk on and have a nice relaxing ride.

Especially in the summer when everything else has lines! Imagine not being able to escape to the peoplemover!

SpaceAce, I think my answer to your question would be The Seas with Nemo and Friends. It's cool, dark, and interesting in there. Nothin' better than that!

they will let you just stay on if there's no line, right?

I think it depends on who is working because there have been times where I have been allowed to stay on if I wanted and others where I had to get off go down and back up and get in a new car.

Oof...I've never had a CM say that to me. Sometimes they look like I'm being a pain, but I've never had them say no. Maybe they were just having a bad day.

maybe, either way it didn't bother me . . i am there to have a good time, and no matter how many double wide stollers run over my feet or how long I am stuck in a line without ac, I can't get upset . . I am at the happiest place on the earth

That's a good attitude! We are a bit...high maintenance...and have a tendency to start getting irritated by some of the rudeness there (always guests of course). We usually just have to stop and take a deep breath and remember to chill out.

Yeah, it's vital not to let others impact your vacation.

I am a pretty laid back person and I don't get upset easily, but that said . . . every once in a while there is a someone (or a group of someone's) who are so oblivious and rude that deep breathes don't work laugh Thankfully I only usually encounter one of these a trip.

I try to keep in mind that they probably haven't been to WDW before and don't really know exactly what they're doing. It's funny the same thing happens in NYC and it's much less excusable there. Someone was talking about how everyone treats NYC as a tourist attraction and forget that people have to LIVE there.

yeah, while i'd love to do so, no one really lives in wdw. gawkers in the streets of your neighborhood could get pretty old.

Ha ha! It's so funny that you guys are talking about this! DW and I always play a little game that keeps us less "annoyed" with those little things that always happen in the parks. If one of us starts to get visibly stressed out, we're given a point. The one with the most points at the end has to make breakfast in bed for the other one on our first day home!

So, we end up actually competing against one another to be the most relaxed; plus the "point system" makes us laugh and usually quickly dissolves that "need" to get stressed out.

wow that is a really cool idea. I wonder if that would work in "reality". My boyfriend is so quick to get upset by little things sometimes and I would love breakfast in bed. laugh

Even if I spotted him a few points . . I am pretty sure I would still win. . .

If I can remember this tip, I think we will have to try it the next time we are down at WDW

Pinnochio's Villagehaus is fun to relax in and watch people float by on IASW.

If the park isn't too busy and you don't have to wait in a long line, the Maelstrom in Norway is always dark and cool.

Call me old fashioned, but I like the vibrating foot massagers eek Don't remember where they are in the other parks but I always remember them being on Main Street in MK.

edit: Whoops, doesn't meet the criteria as they're normally not indoor or air conditioned. Appologies:)

I'd have to go with the American Adventure - best nap in the parks!

I haven't looked for them recently, but I know they were ALWAYS there growing up. They just vibrate, but it feels great and does give you a recharge.

Disneyland. I'm going to do some research and see if I can find any mention of them on the interweb.
