I'm getting down to the crunch now....46 days until the wonderland wedding! We wanted it to be slightly themed but not extremely cartoony. We were hoping the guests would notice the slight touches of wonderland but still have an elegant party. I'm asking for any last minute suggestions or where I may be able to find some extra photo props (things on sticks) since I have a large bridal party. Here's how things are shaping up so far.
Venue- Since the weather is so unpredictable we opted out of a garden tea party and instead went for a turn of the century mansion. http://crystalplaza.com/
Photo props- For our bridal party we have some picture props! I am still looking for more if any one can point me in the right direction. Some chesire, hatter, and white rabbit props , the tweedles, and some of the queen's cards. I could use more of these though as I have up to twenty people so I'd love links or ideas!
The place cards will be alice themed and will be in tiny topiaries that look like the queen of hearts trees that the guests can take. tree holders
The reception colors ore whisical hot pink and green. We have, tall, flower arrangements to make things seems flowery and the little gel gems inside will glow. Some of the flowers are unusual for weddings but they add to the whimsical feel.
At the cocktail and venetian hour there will be Eat Me party picks in the finger food with hot pink bows to match the colors. eat me tags
When guests sit, the glass of champagne will have a drink me tag around the bottom to match the eat me tags.
A student of Lou's designed our table numbers in alice themes using different sceneries and characters for each table. I will try to upload later- it won't seem to allow it now.
The room will be lit up with pink uplighting after the first dances
Our favors are customized playing cards.
When guests check into the hotel they will also receive one of these inviting them to breakfast the next morning for our very merry post wedding breakfast ticket
Anyway, I'm looking for other suggestions! Or especially more photo prop suggestions! I will try and upload the table numbers later as the kids from his high school did a wonderful job with photoshop
