Worst Places to get Stuck on a Ride

TeacherDrama and Caitiesus were talking about getting stuck on Spaceship Earth so here's the resulting thread! laugh

Where's the worst place you've been stuck? I can remember getting stuck on Splash Mountain for AGES in a really boring part underground. It'd be cool to get stuck with a view of the castle, but didn't happen... sarcastic

I can't say as I've had a bad experience being stuck on a ride at a Disney park. It has happened a couple times, but I don't remember it every being more than a minor issue.

Ha ha! Almost as bad, I've been stuck on the boats on Gran Fiesta in Mexico!

I think the worst, though, is when the boats at Pirates of the Carribbean get backed up at the end. Sometimes you have to wait FOREVER.

Also, I've been "stuck" on Carousel of Progress before. The turning mechanism wasn't working, so we were stuck watching the same section of the show three times over. Finally I just got up and walked out an emergency exit.

My first thoughts too. I've had brief stops on there where I panicked at the idea that I was going to be stuck there.

I posted before about the horror of getting stuck in Mission Space! Not quite the same as what we're talking about though. IASW is definitely up there for a place I would NOT want to get stuck.

I once got stuck in the Haunted Mansion in the graveyard scene when the heads were popping up behind a stone -- SO annoying!

The repetitive soundtrack is killer on just about anyplace. It's actually better if it's a "white noise" kind of place, rather than someplace with music or dialogue. If you're stuck in one place hearing the same bit of dialogue over and over it can be maddening.

This year my son and I got stuck right at the top of the hill on The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm - okay, not so bad but I am afraid of heights - if I'm not secured in, so the thought of having to climb out and down steps with a 3 year old scared the heck outta me! eek

It's a small world . .lol

(Don't worry, I don't always catch the abbreviations either, and then smack myself when I find out what there are.)

Yeah, that's almost in a separate category. Most of the time I've been trapped it's been a little annoying. That would be downright unpleasant to say the least.
