Nikon Named as the Official Camera of Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland

The Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort have a new official camera.

Last month, Nikon and Disney announced a multi-year alliance that named the camera brand as the official camera for the resorts.

The agreement means that Nikon will have branded "Picture Spots" throughout the theme parks at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, giving guests the chance to take their vacation pictures as ideal photographic locations.

Walt Disney World Resort Park Entrances Are Now Turnstile Free

The Magic Kingdom reached an important milestone at the end of November when the park's last touch point entry system was unveiled.

With the unveiling at the Magic Kingdom means that all Walt Disney World Resort park entrances are now turnstile free.

Earlier this year, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon was the first park at the Walt Disney World Resort to see the turnstiles switched out for touch point entries. Throughout the year the other parks have had their turnstiles replaced by touch point systems.

See a Door Tagged by Walt Disney at Shadows-on-the-Teche Mansion in Louisiana

It's not often that one finds an inscription from Walt Disney that isn't in his famous script, but if you visit the Shadows-on-the-Teche, an antebellum historic home in New Iberia, Louisiana, you'll see his graffiti on a door in the home.

The home is the property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the door has been signed by many people over the years, including Walt Disney, author Henry Miller, and Elia Kazan, the director of A Streetcar Named Desire.
