Disney Cruise Line Named Top Large-Ship Line in Reader’s Choice Poll

Disney Cruise Line was recently ranked as the top large-ship cruise line by readers of a national travel magazine.

Conde Nast Traveler's 26th Annual Readers' Choice Awards gave DCL an overall rating of 90.3, putting the cruise line ahead of Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, and Princess Cruises.

Glow With the Show Ears Debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as Fantasmic! Celebrates 15 Years

As Fantasmic! celebrated its 15th anniversary at Disney's Hollywood Studios, guests also had a chance to celebrate the debut of the Glow With the Show ear hats.

The ear hats debuted last year at Disneyland and their appearance during Fantasmic! was just the beginning of all things glow ears at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Using the latest technology, these magical ear hats glow and complement the imagery and beat of the fireworks and other nighttime entertainment spectaculars.

Fit2Run offers runners the chance to find a perfect fit when it comes to their footwear, and will also be offering a complimentary video-taped gait analysis and an iStep barometric scanning. These offerings will help guests find the right shoe for their feet.

B Hotel Coming to Downtown Disney Resort Area in Early 2014

The Downtown Disney Resort Area is getting a new hotel in early 2014.

The B Hotel is scheduled to open in the former Royal Plaza Hotel in February of next year. The hotel is reportedly going to be a part of the Downtown Disney resorts when it opens, making it an Official Walt Disney World Hotel. The former Royal Plaza Hotel was also an Official Walt Disney World Hotel.

The Walt Disney Company Named Most Socially Responsible Company

The Walt Disney Company was recently named one of the most socially responsible companies - sharing the top spot with Microsoft, Google, and BMW.

The ranking comes out of a study conducted by a private consulting firm called Reputation Institute, where more than 55,000 consumers in 15 countries were asked to identify companies with the strongest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reputation.
