Thsnks Gray!! Went to the Disney store at the mall today just to get a little pre-trip "fix"!! They have the princess and fairy dresses on sale...wished I had a little girl to shop for!! Soon enough I'll see them all in their "finery"!!

4 more days of work and then a day to run errands and pack and we're off to Orlando for 11 days!!!

Aren't they adorable in those dresses! I love that the castmembers always call them "Princess," and treat them as royalty. biggrin However, it's gotta get HOT in those things! If I ever go to WDW with a little girl, we're going in winter!

I'm so excited I can barely stand it!!!

You're right Bali, I couldn't imagine wearing one of those dresses in the heat of summer. I have a friend taking her children down this week and I recommended to her that she do the face painting, "updo" hair with glitter and the tiara and skip the dress and shoes...just too hot in July for that much fabric!

I always get excited for all you guys' trips. It's really fun to hear about everyone's plans and then what they do.

I keep hope alive that I will return one day as well!

That's what I thought, too. I kept seeing these cute little girls in their princess dresses, and it was 95 degrees out and I thought "You couldn't bring a change of clothes for the poor kid before dragging them around this godawful hot park???" I felt so sorry for them. That boutique in DTD, by the way, does a GREAT job with girls' hair. It looks awesome. I was tempted to have them go to town on me. laugh

I always imagine the argument that ensues in the room before the family leaves for the park:

kid: "But Mooooooooooooooooom, I WANNA wear my Cinderella dress and plastic shoes today!!!!!!!!!"

mom: "It's way too hot. You'll cook on the pavement. You're NOT wearing it."

kid: "But MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!"

mom: "OK, FINE, WEAR THE DRESS, BUT DON'T COMPLAIN TO ME WHEN YOU'RE SWEATING ALL DAY AND HAVING A HORRIBLE TIME IN DISNEY WORLD! AND DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT ASKING ME TO BUY YOU SHORTS AND A TSHIRT IN THE PARK!!! YOU'RE WEARING THAT THING ALL DAY LONG!"
