Thanks everyone!

Bella - I am really considering the schwarma platter. I'm trying to not plan out the food to much but those do sounds really yummy! With Rose and Crown.. if we can't get a good viewing seat it's okay. Our reservation is at 7:30 so if we need to go somewhere else to view the show it's not going to ruin anything for me. I just think it would be really awesome to do that and feel it can't hurt to try, lol.

So I have finally convinced Andy to do Characters in Flight with me! I'm glad cause I really wanted to do it but didn't want to go without him, haha. Yay!

Holy moly!! So.. I understand why a lot of people are not really excited about the "free dining" being offered. I really hope it doesn't change the crowd levels to bad when we go.. I already had all my ADR's booked so I am not really worried about not getting to eat where I want to...

I do have to admit that getting the money back was a nice surprise however. We already paid our trip in full so my travel agent still applied the discount and we are getting $560 refunded back to us! The really awesome thing about this is, it's all money we have already taken out of our monthly budget so we are going to keep it that way. Instead of thinking of it as extra money we are going to put it right into savings and have that for spending money for our trip!

This makes me feel SSOOO much better cause I was not sure what we would have to spend.

I LOVE free dining, it doesn't ever seem to change the crowds when we are there as it's always a really slow time of year anyway.
Last time we were there it was free dining during the first 2 weeks of october adn the crowds were bare minimum.

So I booked out Carriage ride at POR! We have the very last time slot for the night which is 9:30pm. and I am so excited for it. We will be at Epcot that day so my hope is that we can enjoy as much time as possible in the park then take the bus over to POR, take our ride then head over to Sassagoula for some beignets, then take a boat over to Downtown Disney to head back to POP. I've check all the operating times to make sure it should work... I just hope it all works as smoothly as it does in my head, lol.

The Three Broomsticks was delish at Universal! Your trip sounds so fun! To get to PO you would need to take a bus from Epcot. The carriage rides there are so wonderful and the grounds are beautiful...it's really a relaxing and magical experience!

yay Sounds like your trip is going to be amazing. Personally, I can't do without the park hopper's because I like to go do one or two things, leave....rest and go back to another park afterwards. Especially with a longer stay. Take me with you? Just pretend I'm not there silly

2 Months!!!! I'm beyond excited and really feel like I should be doing or planning something but I am not sure what else to do, LoL. I have slowly been buying pins on ebay so I have a lot to trade on the trip. I've been buying cheaper individual pin cause the "lot" make me to nervous about scrappers. I have about 60 now, lol!

I'm still thinking about ordering a new autograph book, one that says Walt Disney World instead of Disneyland, haha.

Every time I think about the trip I get kind of fidgety and feel like I need to do something! How do you guys handle this feeling?

Hmmm...I can only suggest that you 1) resist it by trying to think of something else; 2) give into it by reliving Disneyland trips, watching movies, Netflix documentaries, etc; 3) have a drink, preferably a Disney-themed cocktail Smile, such as this Tom & Jerry cocktail, or maybe this margarita. Good luck Smile

I have a lot of rehearsals and 3 performances in the next week so I do have other things to think about but after that I am all for Disney movies and drinks! laugh

43 DAYS!!!!!! yay mickey yay mickey yay

I have been super busy so the days are going by really fast which is perfectly fine by me, lol! My travel agent keeps sending me emails with all kinds of information or other little things.. updates on Food and Wine, info about MNSSHP, things like that. I still need to order my autograph book which I know I should do really soon, haha. Andy and I are also looking into getting some new luggage, we've never travel really far before (Andy has never flown ever..) so we would like something a little more sturdy than the bags we do have.

I'm kind of bummed out because, I bought a new little point and shoot camera cause it takes decent video which is all I wanted but something happened to it and it now has a little screen issue. It looks as though something may have pushed against it and broke a few of the pixels so there is a little noise that shows up. The problem is Walmart does not stock this particular camera so I would need to place an order for a new one and I am not sure if I will get it on time... I don't really want to take that chance, lol. It doesn't effect the image at all so I might have to just live with it..

I am getting so crazy excited!!!

We had a camera issue last week...our problem was our dog decided to eat it and the memory card that was currently in it. We ordered a replacement from Amazon and paid rush shipping and it came in only 3 days! You won't have a problem. But I know it is frustrating. We learned our lesson and our new camera is kept way up high and out of reach of our pooch Smile

1 Month!!! Holy cow! Is this really happening? Am I really only 1 month away from going to WDW? It still doesn't feel quite real, haha. I've started working on my random (slightly OCD) lists that I always make including characters I want pics with and where to find them as well as the things I am bring back as gifts for people. My mom is coming over next weekend so I can show her around the house and she can get an idea for where things are, she is going to be house/cat sitting while we are away.

I am really excited to read all the trip reports from those that are there already or are going to be soon!

Taking a cue from JeffC I wanted to share the new popcorn bucket that I got this year. I collect the buckets every time I go to Disneyland for Christmas but this is the first time I got one for Halloween. I believe it was only available in DLR.

Here's Jack!

Hey question...how did you book a carriage ride at POR. I looked on the website but there was nowhere to book it. did you just call and speak to a CM?

Yeah, I called and said I wanted to book a ride ans asked about time spots and such. She was really helpful and it was so easy. They will give you a conformation number and let you know you pay in cash at the ride or charge to your room key.
I looked up the ride at www.portorleans.org and it said under the info to call 1-407-WDW-PLAY (1-407-939-7529).

I love the Mansion! It is without a doubt one of my FAV rides... but I think I like it just a bit more when it has the NBC overlay. It's so awesome! I hope someday you can come out here and see it! awesome
