Marketplace Booth Updates, New Culinary Demos, and more at the 2016 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

The 2016 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival kicks off September 14 for a record 62 days and we're getting a little more information about what we can expect this year. More than 30 festival marketplaces will be part of the festival along with culinary demos, special events, and more.

Exciting updates for this year's Epcot Food and Wine Festival!

For the second year in a row the marketplace booths will be in World Showcase and Future World. We know for certain that Greece, Farm Fresh, and Desserts & Champagne will return to the festival for 2016 as Disney has announced new dishes for those booths.

The Desserts & Champagne booth will be serving up hard soda floats, a new vegan dish will debut at the Greece booth, and Farm Fresh will be serving up savory dishes that showcase "Florida's bounty."

New "Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It!" workshops will be available at the Festival Center for guests to learn culinary skills from chefs, bakers, mixologists, and more. Culinary stars including Cat Cora, Norm Van Aken, Masaharu Morimoto, Buddy Valstro, and Jamie Deen are scheduled to appear during new and returning premium events.

The Party for the Senses has also been reimagined for 2016, and the Rockin' Burger Block Party is returning for this year's festival.

Wang Chung is set to open the 2016 Eat to the Beat concert series on September 14. Other acts for this year include Toad The Wet Sprocket, Wilson Phillips, Boyz II Men, and Jeffery Osborne.
