Summer officially begins on Memorial Day Weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort with the debut of several new experiences at Disney's Animal Kingdom. But the magic continues throughout the summer as new experiences and attractions open at all four theme parks.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, the park will become a nighttime destination for the first time ever. The Tree of Life will awaken each night with enchanted fireflies and spirit animals along with a celebration on Discovery Island. Guests can enjoy Kilimanjaro Safaris at night for the first and take in a limited-time show on Discovery River inspired by The Jungle Book.

Tiffins signature restaurant and the Nomad Lounge also officially open on Memorial Day Weekend.

Over at Epcot guests will have to wait until June for new experiences. That's when Frozen Ever After opens along with the Royal Sommerhus in the Norway pavilion. And in Future World, Soarin' Around the World will reopen on June 17!

The Magic Kingdom debuts a brand new stage show this summer, Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire, starring (for the first time ever) Rapunzel and Princess Tiana along with other Disney friends.

And finally, a new Star Wars-themed fireworks show, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, debuts this summer at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The show will feature fireworks, special effects, and video projections.
