The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic is now showing nightly at Disney's Animal Kingdom on the Discovery River. The limited-engagement show was announced earlier this spring after Disney pushed back the opening date for the planned River of Light show.

Disney Begins Development on Live-Action Adaptation of 'Dumbo'

Dumbo is flying back into theaters sometime in the near future.

Disney is reportedly working on a live-action adaptation of the 1941 animation classic that will likely involve a CG animated flying elephant in the title role.

The script is being written by Transformers scribe Ehren Kruger and will reportedly add a new family storyline that parallel's the original story. The film is being produced by Justin Springer (Tron: Legacy) and Kruger.

The First Trailer Is Out For Disney's The Jungle Book 2016

Disney's Motion Pictures machine is on the ball again turning one of its beloved animated classics into a brand new, star studded, live action blockbuster. The latest familiar childhood tale to get a make-over of epic proportions is The Jungle Book, based on Rudyard Kipling's timeless stories and inspired by Disney's classic animated film, about the unique adventures of Mowgli the man-cub.
