Wine Bar George Opening at Disney Springs in Fall 2017

Wine Bar George, a 210-seat wine bar from Master Sommelier George Miliotes, has been confirmed for Disney Springs. The new wine bar is slated to open in fall 2017 offering a variety of wines by the glass and bottle.

California Grill fans might remember Miliotes as part of the opening team when California Grill opened in 1995. He is one of only 230 Master Sommeliers in the world.

Wine Bar George will be "reminiscent of a winemaker's home estate" and the bar's design will feature oak wood, warm lights, and a "welcoming, comfortable atmosphere." The new wine bar will be located across from Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar and next to Raglan Road's Hole in the Wall.

While the focus of Wine Bar George will be more than 100 selections of wine by the bottle and glass, guests will also enjoy a food menu featuring small plates that complement the wine list.

The small plate offerings will include local artisans and seasonal flavors.

The wines featured will come from "acclaimed wineries" as well as "up-and-coming growing regions and wineries."

The wine education of guests will be "approachable" and "fun" according to Miliotes. Guests can also expect to enjoy special events and even visits from winemakers.
