4 Parks in 1 Day

So I'm trying to sort out our trip for September (I'm and obsessive planner!) and I remembered reading somewhere on here that somebody did 4 Parks in 1 day? now we are there for 14 days so you might think "why would I want to do this?" well the simple answer is because if I manage to I'd like to count that as an achievement! now the day in question is going like this right now

Animal Kingdom (with 1pm reservation at Yak & Yeti)

EPCOT to see Christopher cross on eat to the beat concerts (thinking the 6.45 show)

Magic Kingdom for Wishes at 10pm

Now my thinking is in-between AK and EP sneak into HS to show my face and say I had been then boat to EPCOT but since giving my plan ideas to the mother she then turned to ask me "and where do we eat in all of this" so now I'm stuck!

So what I would really like to know is have you done it or are you crazy enough to try? and if so can anybody answer my lovely mothers question of where is best to eat fitting in with my plans!

Thanks!

I did that once, purely by accident.

We had planned to start our day at Epcot and finish up at Magic Kingdom for EEMH. But I got up early, decided to let hubby sleep in, and went to DHS so I could ride Toy Story Mania as soon as the park opened, before the line got long. Eventually I got a text from hubby saying he was en route to Epcot, and I caught the boat over and met up with him there to cruise the Food and Wine Festival booths for lunch. Since we'd already spent a day at Epcot, there wasn't anything else we really wanted to do there, so we caught the Disney bus to Animal Kingdom. I think hubby did Everest; I know we both did the safari and saw the parade. Then we hopped back to Epcot to graze the Food and Wine booths for dinner. And then we hopped to MK for EEMH, where we caught the electric parade and rode several of our favorites.

Now, for the way you want to do this: With that 1:00 pm ADR at Yak and Yeti and the Epcot concert just a few hours later, I'm not sure you'll have time to fit DHS into your afternoon, or dinner into your evening. I would suggest starting your day at DHS at rope drop and doing whichever headliner attraction most appeals to you, then bus to AK after an hour, two at most. Do lunch, maybe ride something or see the parade, then bus to Epcot for the show and a really quick counter-service dinner. (Maybe get something that's easy to eat standing up and eat while waiting in line for the concert?) Then monorail to MK.

And I must point out, this will all be a lot easier if DHS has morning EMH or MK has evening EMH on the day you try it.

By the looks of thing DHS has EMH on the morning however we are not morning people so i don't honestly know if we would get there for before 9 (and even this is a push!)

the way I was thinking was by the time we go AK parade is due to end so we wont need to wait for this so my thinking was leaving AK around 3pm heading to DHS even just looking in a few shops to say I was there! then boat to EPCOT to see eat to the beat (we aren't that bigger fans of him so wouldn't be bothered about getting a great seat so as long as I was there by 6.45 that would help then walking down to get monorail to MK, one thing that helps is wishes is on an hour later so gives us a bit extra time but my mother is really concerned about this food business - I suggested Casey's corner whilst watching the fireworks and by her response I'm not sure she is thrilled with this!

Thanks so much for the help I'm going to look at everything suggested and see how I can work this in!

My DH and I have done all 4 parks in one day several times. You can fit quite a few things in at each park if you decide before hand exactly what you'd like to do. If you are doing all 4 parks in one day, it is much easier to do if you are eating QS exclusively, or maybe only one TS. TS can be very time consuming and that certainly works against you when trying to do all 4 parks in one day. We always eat QS exclusively but when we are doing all 4 parks we try to eat only food that we can walk around and eat. It saves so much time! Also, when we do all 4 in one day, we try to put a park in between Epcot and MK. We spend the most amount of time at those two, so our all 4 days run smoother when we don't do Epcot and MK back to back.

We are also NOT morning people, so we don't start our days early either. This is our schedule from one of the times we did all 4 parks in one day.

We started the day at AK at 10am. We had breakfast in the hotel so we didn't have to worry about food for awhile. We lucked out and only waited a few minutes to ride EE. Then we watched the 11am Finding Nemo. After Nemo, we drove to Epcot. We got to Epcot about 12:30pm and walked to the WS. On our way to WS we got a FP(still paper) for Mission Space. We each got a sandwich from Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie while we walked through the rest of WS. After our sandwich we rode Maelstrom. We each got a treat from Kringla Bakeri and headed to FW to ride the Seas w/ Nemo and Mission Space. We left after Mission Space and drove to HS. I don't remember the exact time we got to HS but I know it was around 4:30-4:45pm because we watched the last B&tB, which is usually at 5:30. We got a FP for ToT and watched Beauty and the Beast while we waited for our FP time. After B&tB we watched the Muppets and VotLM. Somewhere in between Muppets and VotLM we got a chicken sandwich from Backlot Express. At this point we decided to go to MK and we were standing on Main Street by 8:30pm. We spent the rest of the night at MK, which was open until 1am that night.

I recommend eating during the concert, instead of waiting for Wishes. If you're eating at 1pm, you are bound to be hungry before 10pm. Epcot world showcase has lots of great places you can grab a sandwich or hearty snack and eat while you watch the concert. Sommerfest in Germany has a very filling Frankfurter with sauerkraut, or w/o if you prefer, that my DH says is WAY better than Casey's. Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie have very good, large baguette sandwiches or my personal favorite are their ham & cheese croissant. They also have several delicious desserts. If you eat food you can hold during the concert you and your mother won't be absolutely starving by the time you're watching Wishes. If you want to eat during Wishes, Sleepy Hollow have delicious, and quite filling, waffle sandwiches.

Thanks Annie! That's a fantastic plan usually we wouldn't do Epcot and MK together but with our plans I think it's our only option!

We have the DDP so that's why we have the ts meal! We were always qs girlies so it's taking some adjusting, les Halle's is a good option or the other thing we were thinking of was maybe liberty inn, they have the outside seats and it would be out qs meal for the day!

Thank you!

I did four parks in one day last month. It was a spur of the moment decision the last day of my trip.

After my cousins caught the DME around 9:30am, I went to DAK. I rode EE, Dinosaur and saw Finding Nemo. Second park was DHS where I rode Great Movie Ride. Third stop was Magic Kingdom where I rode the People Mover and had lunch at Tony's. which leaves Epcot as my last stop. Here I rode Spaceship Earth, Journey into the Imagination and saw Caption EO and went to Norway for dessert. I was back to AoA by 6:00. My DME pick up time was 6:45.

Would I do this again? Yes, but I would hit the parks in the order you are planning - DAK, DHS, Epcot MK.

You have DDP, but that doesn't mean you need to have a table-service meal on that particular day - you could double up TS meals some other day and just do quick service on your four-parks day.

For my trip in September, I'm thinking of doing all the parks in one day simply because our fifth day in the park is pretty wide open. We'll have already done all the parks at least once, and a couple twice. I just don't think I'm actually going to PLAN to do this in case something happens the other four days and we need this fifth day for something in particular. I'd rather it happen organically, I guess!

NHshorty and I have done it a couple of times. We generally use a rental car so we don't depend on Disney transportation.
