We get a Christmas decoration or two. Then a hoodie or jacket. But for clothing we limit ourselves to one each. We also get a salt and pepper shaker set. Not sure how that one started but we do use them everyday and they bring fond memories every time.

My favourite souvenier has been some ceramic 16oz cups we brought back this last time.Perfect for an iced coffee in the summer. As for spends we really try not to think about what we are spending and just get what we like (we have saved for an age for the holiday so no holding back).
The two shops which get most of our do$$ars are Old Navy and the Nascar store at universal citywalk Shock

About the same for us; a t-shirt a piece and a Christmas ornament. When I went in high school I spent $40 on a Mr. Potato Head and all the accessories Downtown lol

My husband always buys a cool hat or two and he picks up a few t shirts. I always go for the pins and I like to pick out a coffee mug. I think next trip I might check out the vinylmation characters.

I keep it simple so it's basically a hat and T-shirt for me. A plush every now and then is also fine with me.

We start by purchasing Disney gift cards (before we go). We use them for food, souvenirs, etc... while at WDW. Some of our favorite items are a new ornament or two, a couple of shirts (polo and/or t-shirts), food items for home (Mickey pretzels...in a bag, Mickey-shaped pasta, etc...), and usually a household item or piece of art.

On our impromptu trip during New Year's weekend, we purchased a custom ornament at Crystal Arts on Main Street. We watched the glass-blowing demonstration and then decided that we wanted him to create an ornament for us. We knew which character (you can't tell him the name of the character...licensing issues...but you can tell him the color combinations you'd like) we wanted it to represent and told him the colors. He helped select the right colors and then created it right there while we watched. The ornament had to stay at least overnight, so we picked it up two-days later. (They will ship it too, if you'd like.) During this trip, we also purchased quite a few cupcakes...we tried all the seasonal ones, including the 'hidden mickey' cupcake.

Clothing! I usually come home with a few tshirts and/or a jacket. This time I surprised myself with coming home with only a pair of Mickey flats. Usually I come home with something useful. The past two trips I've come home with quite a few stuffed animals. So useful sarcastic . Also, that new shop in Storybook Circus with all the Dumbo merchandise is designed to eat my money.

We make sure we bring home a tshirt from Mt. Everest, they have some with the coolest patches!
Any pins that we like.... and art, I make sure to get a print of the Evil Queen...
this time I made sure I picked up more "cultural" items from the Country's in Epcot..
I have a painted zebra from Mexico, a hanging Mayan calendar from Mexico,
Drums from Africa, Personalize Fan from Japan, a replica of the Moroccan Tower,
oh! don't forget the really cool Lego R2D2's we made from Star Tours !

We're pin collectors and we also have a pretty robust Jim Shore Disney collection. We try to limit ourselves because, well, Disney has already taken over most of our house. I do love the Christmas store, but I rarely actually make a purchase there. Every time I find an ornament set I like I multiply it by how many ornaments I need to fill the tree and I start to get dizzy and vaguely nauseous at what it would cost to completely makeover our tree! laugh We did pick up some very cute bathroom accessories from Yankee Trader in Liberty Square on our last trip.

I don't really plan what I want to buy. If it strikes my fancy I will pick it up. My hubby likes hats and tees. There is just so many fun things that I just keep an open mind to whatever I may find!

yay t-shirts are a must, but only if they meet our 'cool' standards. And those can vary. . laugh The same for baseball caps. I love them but am very picky about the fit and the look. The last two trips were terrible for hats! wink

The Best things we've ever gotten were coffee mugs - simple ones that came in a blue or a brown. Those are our Devore - the colors of the house so we had a dozen shipped home!! Six of each color. Still my favorite Sunday Coffee & Newspaper mug!! cool

We don't normally spend much on 'things' to bring back with us. But we will be getting some new pins and also a christmas ornament.
We tend to hit the Gap Outlet at LBV as that's the only one with kids clothes in, but we rarely buy anything for ourselves. This year I do want some Bare Minerals make up though.

If you like outlet shopping go to the 2 official Disney outlet store down there. Last trip I got POTC shirts for the boys that were still by the ride for only $10 each!

We tend to get housewares sort of things that are useful around home, so they can be integrated into the whole and we don't have to start a Disney room. LOL

We have a blanket from Epcot Mexico, kitchen wall hanging from the UK, bowls from China, jangly bells for the door from Germany, those sorts of things. It's nice to see them in use around the house.

I buy Pin's, pins & more pins. I just love them. I also bring aload of pins to trade. My son was the first to start the pin buying &trading. It was then something that we did as a family with my grandsons. My son passed away in Aug 2010 so now I continue the trading as a way if staying close at heart with my son & my grandsons their daddy.

Coffee mugs! And last time I was there I found a great EPCOT shirt I should have purchased, so if I happen to see the same or a similar one next time I'm there, I'm definitely getting it.

But coffee mugs are the only thing I can say for sure I'll bring home every time.
