All tapped out - Where to stay???

So we have our annual Disney (Mardi Gras) trip lined up for late Feb. to early March. We booked a 7 nt. stay at Saratoga Springs (1-bedroom) through a DVC member a few weeks back. We're now really wanting to add two more days to the front end of this trip (Fri. - Sun.), but are not having any luck finding room availability on property through DVC and WDW website. Anyone have any tips on where to look to find a place close to SSR (off site) for two nights from 24-26 Feb.? Our SSR reservation starts 26 Feb. and runs though 05 March, by the way..

Also, I even checked Shades of Green and no availability.. What's up with this weekend????? confused

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Also, not looking to spend more than $200 a night at this point.. Thanks again!!

Did you check the All Star resorts? They will transfer luggage for you if needed. You may need to check daily if they say they are full now. Also look on Travelocity, they often have rooms set aside. We often do All Star for a day or two on the front end of a stay before moving to a DVC. Good luck.

Don't know if there is availability, but either Port Orleans resort would be relatively close to Saratoga.

Thanks all for the helpful tips.. I went to the website Kristin suggested and found a place literally a stone's throw from SSR. They have a military/Gov't discount, so I'm getting the room for less than $130 a night and it's a Hilton... Whoaboy!!!! yay This'll save us a good chunk of change. Now we can book another ADR or two.. clapping

Thanks again everyone for your input..

Excellent! Glad to hear it. My family and I used to stay in the resorts there all the time when I was young.

Kristen,

Now I'm starting to second guess myself. I'm shopping around on the DVC websites for room availability as well as AP passholder specials, but if nothing turns up, I have this reservation to fall back on. I'm really wanting my kids to experience the BWV's or one on the other Deluxe Villas, before we head on over to SSR.

My wife and I just love BWV (Our F&W go to resort), and think the kids would love it as much as us.. We'll see how it goes...

Oh for sure go DVC if you can find a reasonable rental. However if you can't the Disney Springs resorts are a good choice.
