Nope, i have always wanted to move somewhere warmer but I have a house and DW and a good job, whit the way the world is right now I better stay put. I will try again when (if) things get better.

Yeah it's not exactly a prime time for risk-taking. How does Indy fare as the economy goes? I know it sucks everywhere, but does it suck more or less than average there?

We are split, Indianapolis and south things are moving Ok, New buildings are going up and the gears are turning. Up north there are a lot of factories that work with the Big 3 car companies (And other auto makers too) making parts and such. those areas are dying, it's like a ghost town in some spots and unemployment is skyrocketing.

Quick correction: Just talked to my DW. She works at a major firm downtown, and they just let go a very disturbing number of people today (A firing crew went floor by floor threw a 36 story office building) DW Still has a job, as well as our friends, but a very scary situation.

Yeah I'd imagine the automaker situation isn't going to be good for anyone up there. I hope everything turns out all right! Glad to hear you guys both still have your jobs.

Congratulations! I'm considering going on my birthday--any hints on how to get and use the birthday coupons? Do you have to fill out an application or something?

just acquaintances, all the good friends are still there. It was a pretty big local deal, all the news stations covered it yesterday.
