You worried about the crowds in June? Or is that a good week? Or do you not mind the crowds?

Oh, I've been there early June before, and it was HELL. Busy, crowded, and HOT!

But we will be there during that period of time to attend the annual Pin Celebration, which this was was moved from early Sept. to late June to avoid clashing with the Haunted Mansion event at Disneyland.

Haunted Mansion event?

Yeah, the 40th Anniversary of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, which will be held on 9/9/09 (999 Happy Haunts).

The event sold out the day they opened the registration for each tier. I was initially planning on going, but a last-minute work scheduled wiped that out. So as a consolation, I'm going to the Pin Celebration event.

Ah yes. I recall the Haunted Mansion event now, and how quickly that sold out. Remind me--do they have dinner IN the mansion? I can't tell from the info on the link.

That pin event looks great! What are the hidden mickey pins going to look like (do they have pics online?)

From what I remember, the dinner will be in DCA, and then they'll move on later in the evening to DL to the attraction for the ride-through and the desert reception.

Definately not soon enough...Nine months is far too long to go without Disney!

DW and I are planning and schemeing as I type. We're pretty sure we'll be booking either AKL or WL, though the Grand Floridian or the Poly might sneak in there for a couple of nights as well.

I remember you talking about that! It's getting closer and closer--what will you be doing on the big day?

Were you planning on participating in Mousefest before it was cancelled?

Leaving on Friday for a weekend trip (2/20). We will go over Spring Break for at least 4 days.

The DW and I are planning a trip to DL to celebrate our 20th anniversary. She will be running the Long Beach Marathon as well - Combo trip sans kids!

Getting Married in May and Jude & I are planning on visiting Disney May 3 - 10, 2009 for our honeymoon.

We are booked at the Grand Floridian and have park hopper passes. We have made dinner reservations for most nights.

Congratulations and welcome to the board!

That's a good time to go too, you're right in between spring break and summer vacations. I'd love to hear how the Grand Floridian is. It's a great resort and has great dining. Are you eating at the restaurants in the Resort?

Welcome to the boards and CONGRATULATIONS on your wedding!

Grand Floridian--wow! I hope you'll give us your feedback when you return; I've never stayed there.

Early May is one of my favorite times to visit; it's warm, not too crowded, and the Flower & Garden festival is on!

Where do you have dinner reservations? Any other plans?

Thank's for all the remarks.

We had booked a room at Wilderness lodge yet after talking to travel we decided to move to Grand Floridian. Two reasons, one that Jude could be at same resort as the spa. The second reason was that we were able to get a king bed room with a view of Magic Kingdom at the Grand Floridian. I thought this would be nice and be something that Jude would enjoy.

We have the basic meal plan. I think that this will be good with one large meal at night. We arive Sunday at 1:00 PM and have dinner boked at San Angel Inn, Mexico at Epcot that evening.

We are booked for buffet breakfast the next morning at Animal Kiingdom Tusker House and no dinner reservations because we are not sure where we will be. We didn't want to be trapped.

Tuesday we booked the Hoop de doo review that night. We paid for that because meal plan would not allow us to have 7:15 show and seeting catagory 1 which was better for us. I was there in the 70's as a kid and then again early 82 -83. I know jude will love this show.

Wednesday we booked Whispering Canyon Cafe for Dinner at the Wilderness Lodge. My mom and dad were there at Thanksgiving time and said it was a fun place to eat.

Thursday because of extra hours at Magic Kingdom we are leaving the day open for meals and will just see what happens.

Friday we are planning to sleep in because of the late night at Magic Kingdom and booked 9:10 breakfast at our hotel 1900 Park fare. That night we plan to be at Epcot so we will walk over the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort.

Saturday will be our last day in the parks and we wanted to try the Polynesian. We booked dinner at 'Ohana. This will give us 6 meals on the plan one which uses two meals ( yachtsmans ).

We will have a quick lunch on the plan or if we see a place we want to eat we will just pay out of pocket.

GT in gtriderr I started out using rtrider in RT 1100 for my motorcycle. I changed internet providers and lost rtrider so I went to GT for my GT mountain bike.
