I can remember visiting the crystal shop since I was a little girl. I have to stop on every trip. However to be honest, I can't recall that I've ever bought anything while there. Do you enjoy the crystal shops in Disney? Do you collect anything from there? Do you secretly covet the giant crystal covered castles?

Beautiful store to visit. I've never bought anything either but I love looking in their crystal stores. They have beautiful merchandise. I don't buy any crystal pieces as my cats own every flat surface in my house so I would be concerned about them breaking my souvenir.

As for the giant castle, I LOVE it, but don't quite have the $6800 in extra spending cash lying around, laugh .

I buy the tiny little glass figurines. I really want a Jiminy Cricket one, but they only make him in clear glass and I want him in frosted. A lady that worked there at DL said they have a guy who comes in once a year and buys all the expensive stuff, like the castle and the huge crystal vases.

Oh man... I shouldn't have looked. I want the Lady and The Tramp mugs.

I would really love one of the small/midsize castles but it's so out of my budget I don't even dream about it. I had the thought last week in Disneyland that I would buy my BFF a Small Cinderella's Coach for her wedding gift. Then I looked at the price tag. eek

I picked up engraved crystal mugs and ornaments on sale. I love lookingat the giant castle and watching the glass artists. We might have small figurines too yep DW has eeyore and I have a Poohbear and two key chains. I have Poohbear stemware but I'm not sure it was made by Arribas they look like the Minnie wine glasses, only the stems/character are yellow glass.

Gorgeous shop!! We went there last trip and almost bought a frame. I'd love to collect stuff from there (my husband wouldn't want me to!!) but I'll stick to ornaments! laugh

I love Arribas Bros! I mostly go to window shop. It always makes me think of my cousin Lana, who collected glass animals when we were kids. Still today, I always want to get her one. Maybe I will for her next bday.

Thanks, Kristen, for posting and reminding me of a lovely memory Smile

So, you can actually watch the folks making the crystal stuff in the shop? I've always been too afraid to go in there...afraid I'd break something and walk out with a really expensive, smashed souvenir!
