Beast greeting guest at BOG

I heard that beast is going to greet his guest at BOG. Not a character meal but a meet and greet photo op in the lobby.

Has anyone else heard this? How do you feel about it?

I was looking forward to it being a fine dining restaurant not a character meal.

I've never had the desire for a character meal, which is why I'm looking forward to the aesthetics of BOG without them. The meet and greet in front doesn't bother me as long as it doesn't hold up the lines to get in. If this is true, I wonder if it will be at all times of the day or just lunch or dinner.

This is the parent in me coming out... but Beast is a tough character for the kids to see. Usually you can only see him at Epcot... if your lucky. I think this is a must for over there. If you can see Belle... and this is technically at Beast Castle... then we are his guests?

I agree. It's a restaurant based on a movie, I don't think there is anything wrong with a character or two out front. Then it can still be fine dining inside but with a fun, Disney aspect to it.
