So here we go...After I have laminated my itinerary Disney have extended park hours in October..Mostly concerns MK and DHS ..So for us on Sunday 12th MK will now stay open until 1.00am instead of 10.00pm..Check out Easywdw.com for all the changes..

I'm in the same boat! Thankfully not laminated but it was printed! At least I write in my journal in pencil. Will no doubt be tweaking again tomorrow hahaha.
We've had several weekends that the hours change the day of the trip. When we get to our hotel room Friday night I always check Saturday's hours. Several times we got to the park Saturday morning and the hours had changed. This has happened on several Sundays too. In our case the hours had always been extended. The park hours for your trip may change DURING your trip! I'd put the laminate away and start writing the hours in pencil
No problem..I have little plastic stickers that will go onto my laminated sheet...And on the 12th of October on our arrival it means 2 extra of magic at night..Hot dogs & fries at Casey's..( an old tradition ) Love these extra MK hours, not to bothered about DHS extended hours..These midnight boats from MK to WL are going to be more special..Happy days.. 
So here's the question,,,, on Saturday the 18th MK was open till 10pm with magic hours until 12am, it still says this on use official app. Easy wdw says it's open until 12am...... So if this change is right will we get magic hours until 2am? Or is it now that we will have to share our late night magic hours with the off site riff raff?

There are a few anomalies with easywdw, for example it says there are evening EMH in mk but also a MNSSHP, and sometimes the opening seems to include the EMH and others it is just listed below, it also conflicts with other park hours that I have seen on other sites.....
Will compare mde, easywdw and 1 other tomorrow and see what I can come up with.....

In the past, I've found that Easywdw are pretty reliable..I reckon that other sites will follow suit..
I just finished my itinerary. Back to the drawing board! The new late hours at MK during our trip is a good thing!
Ok..It looks like it's official..See photo of Disney's PDF..Our first night at MK is open till 1.00am.. ..The DHS hours have been extended by 2 hours ( extra Fantasmic shows ) till 10.30pm..It doesn't get any better than this as our second last night has us eating at Artist Point, but now we can take the boat from WL to MK until midnight ( for that midnight kiss ) and say goodbye to Cinderella's Castle until the next time..Hopefully 2016...

This will change for sure...I've found that site always slow at changing stuff..Even the menus were slow changing..My
North West Trio at WL took two weeks to catch up with other sites that had the new menu updated..

I was just going to say this.. Either way for me it works out because we were planning on doing MK that night anyway and if it ends up being open until 2am thats even better!!!
I am excited about these changes because now DHS is open until 10:30 on Sunday the 19th, so this gives us a chance to do some F&W booths at Epcot (which closes at 9pm) and still have time to catch the boat back to Studios for some night time fun! 
Well I'am totally confused ( that's easy for me ) Just been off the phone speaking to a nice Disney man about these "so called" changes to MK and DHS in October ...We ran thro the park hours from October 12th till the 25th..The only added extra hours are the ones at DHS..So I've no idea where Easywdw.com got their information from..He said that MDE app is the most reliable for park hour changes..So once again, it's back to my laminate sheet to alter the info..
I have just sent E-Mail to Easywdw site to enquire about these extra MK hours..Hopefully will get a reply and let you all know ASAP..

Holding off on printing my plans now...... But tbh my actual days won't change much now, it's more so that I can work out best times to use evening EMH and watch parades and fireworks ect....

Will do..Hopefully get a reply from Josh who seems to be the main man at that site.. 
To be honest, our first night at MK will probably be a early night..Hot Dogs & Fries at Casey's..Wishes..Then back to WL for sweet dreams..So the 1.00am would be wasted on us...However on our Artist Point ADR night, it would be good if MK had the extra 2 hours as we could sail across after our dinner, but if it's 10.00 PM closing, it wouldn't be worth it..

Well apart from the Monday 20th which Easywdw has a 12.00 am instead of Dibbs 11.00pm That's spot on..Let's hope WDW MDE changes soon..Cheers for that..

Doubt it will change again..As far as these extra hours go..The early morning is awesome..very quiet..Never done the summer extra hours because MK was open till 2.00am, even 3.00am if memory serves me right..
Ok..Now that Disney has updated the new October hours on it's official site, I have a question to ask..In the past trips, all in July, as we are leaving MK around midnight, people are coming in with their fast asleep kids in strollers to enjoy the late magic hours, sometimes late as 3.00am...How is this achieved..?...We are up at dawn, like 6.30am, and at the parks for opening time wither it's an early magic drop or not..Reason I ask is on October 18th, MK is open until 2.00am and I'd love to know the secret of keeping your eyes open till that time..I've read that MK is so quiet just before the park closes, and I would love to get some photos taken at that time..What's the secret.? 
Red bull and pixie dust (sheer enthusiasm) will be my strategy
