Hey guys we just had bacon Mac & Cheese from Earl of Sandwich at DTD today for lunch and it only costs $5.99per serving (large) and it tasted damn good too and w/o bacon was $3.99 per, damn good BUT NOT comparable with Chefs de France.

That stove is too blurry for my taste.

We booked our first family trip there for a lunch. The "kids" (both adults) didn't know I switched the ADRs from Japan to here until the day. When we went in, DS1 loves French Onion Soup so that was an "in". They gave us two or three "meal options' for the DP and yes, one was the mac and cheese, which I didn't order but DS2 thought was wonderful. I ordered the Quiche, which I love no matter what, and yes I can duplicate it at home, but this way I only eat ONE slice instead of the whole pie.

The reason though for the switch, aside from we can go the habachi places here, was REMI! I found out through an underground source what days he would appear and they knew it was our son's 21st birthday. If you have never seen this show it's not a grown up in a suit. The French CM walks around with a domed cheese cart and offers "samples" and in this case to my son. When the dome comes off, Remi is there saying, "Ta Daaaaah!" Then he squeeks the rest of the the conversation. The CM is running Remi from the handle of the dome and after the waiter and Remi sang "Happy Birthday" and all the pictures began, the CM straight faced remarked, "There seems to be an unusual focus on a rat in a restaurant..." (use a French accent with that when thinking it!
