So, it seems that Disney rolled out their new site last year, then it went back to the old site again for months. And just a couple of days ago, I now get the new site again when logging in.
It looks like they've improved the interface quite a bit. Not nearly as sluggish as their first attempt.
But, why oh why did they remove "Duck Says"????? Is it still there hidden somewhere?
Hrmmm... I've had the My Disney Experience site for a long time now, so I'm not sure.
The countdown is now under the "My Disney Experience" tab, and it looks different, it's not Donald.

Well shoot... I just noticed that my countdown is off. I've got ADRs coming up soon here, guess I'll have to figure out which one is right!

I used to notice the same thing. What I found was that is was something to do with the browser cookies not getting updated properly. I found that logging out and then logging back in again would usually cause the timer to correct itself. Not sure about the new site yet as I've only started using it in the last couple of days.

I think you only get it from the actual website not from the app. At least I haven't found it on the app on my iphone! And if you go straight to "my itinerary" or something like that, you don't get it immediately.
Yeah the ticker is not on the app, just the actual web site. I have not seen the original web site in quite some time, and I would say I'm on the Disney site at least once a days checking on the California Grill.

I was really upset when the new site rolled out. On the old site, I knew where everything was and could navigate it very easily. My countdown would be correct sometimes but off sometimes. It was very annoying when it was off.

That's great to hear! This will be our first stay at a Deluxe. Based on our experience, we may consider joining DVC.
