Disney's Hollywood Studios To Keep Its Name

The following gem was in a recent Disney Parks Blog post. So happy that the "Cinemagine" rumor was nothing more than a rumor.

"In response to questions we have been receiving, we also want to let fans know that the Disney's Hollywood Studios name will remain the same for the foreseeable future since we are immersing our guests in a place where imagined worlds of Hollywood unfold around them from movies and music, to television and theater."

I'm glad too, I never understood the need or desire to change the name.

KenJ has the suggestion to change it to "Disney's Hollywood Experience", since it's no longer an actual working studio.

Anyway, I'm good with no change as I don't have to get used to calling it something else. I'm still back and forth between Disney Springs and Downtown Disney. laugh

This... always this!!!

I am perfectly fine with it being the same! I only went once or twice when it was MGM and I still hear people that still call it that and that has been years!! No need to confuse and upset the masses again!! laugh

If they were going to change the name, I always sort of liked a combination of a couple that were on the list,

"Disney's Hollywood Beyond", but that's just me. haha

I've heard that fastpasses for TSM will be unavailable from April 9th - May 7th; however, yesterday (our 60 day out) we attempted to book fastpasses for our trip May 14th - May 22nd and TSM was not available. Thoughts???

There are a couple of thoughts I have about what could have possibly happened. 1) It is possible that they were all snagged up before you could get to them. This is going to be an EXTREMELY busy time in that area, and this is a prized FastPass to begin with. 2) Disney could have extended the blackout dates. I haven't heard anything specifically at this time.

Well, I have trouble believing it's the first one because we were online at 6:00 AM Dallas time (7:00 AM Orlando time), and starting booking as soon as it unlocked. mickey

My guess is that Disney extended the blackout. I tried for our upcoming May trip and couldn't get one either.
