Do You Have Favorite Room?

Who has a favorite room at their regular Disney Resort?

Do you request this room when you book your reservations? Do you usually get your room request?

I've never really made any room requests, and usually just go along with where ever they stick me. However, my favorite room is a 2 bedroom concierge level DVC Villa at Animal Kingdom Lodge, with a pool view.

I love a room at AKL with a savanna view. Its hard getting one with a 2 bedroom deluxe studio... but we always try.

Really? I haven't had trouble so far, but I usually call right at 11 months out. Do you always ask for Jambo House, or do you stay at Kidani too? I prefer rooms at Jambo, but Kidani has a larger selection.

Always Jambo. The past 2 years we have done this specific room, we will always request a savanna view.... but always end up with a pool view. Maybe third times the charm? lol

I like the savanna rooms at Kidani because they offer the lower floors so you have a better view of the animals, there are also more of them available so it's not as hard to book. You should think about giving it a try over there if having a really great view of the savanna is important to you. The time we had a savanna room at Jambo the room was much higher up than I wanted to be to enjoy the savanna. There's a van that leaves Kidani about every ten minutes that will take you over to Jambo house for shopping and dining, it makes being "remote" much easier.

I may have to suggest that. Were just so used to Jambo by now... lol

We really LOVED our room last year at POR. It was ground floor of Acadia House with a courtyard view. It seemed the absolute perfect distance from a bus depot and the main building and swimming pools. We requested the same room for this year's trip, so I'll find out if we get in it 10 days. Otherwise we did just request Acadia House, and today in the online check it I requested a ground floor room. Smile

We used to always go to FW and ask for a cabin in the 2500 loop at check in time. The 2500 loop is near to the Wilderness Pool (and Laundromat). They have always been able to accommodate us even at the busiest times.

The next to the last trip, and the one coming up at the end of May, have been to the villas at WL. Here we have relied on the luck of the draw for room/suite selection.

Soooo I'm just gonna jump into this conversation and side with Kristen & Mase (even though I'm not a DW veteran..). lol

This time around I got a savannah view club level room about 12 weeks out and no problemo! I'll probably be going for it again lol...got this hunch...
