FASTPASS+ - I'm staying on property but can only book 30 days out? Help?

So I just updated/linked my disney experience with our tickets, and it shows us only being able to book FP+ 30 days out? I have a linked reservation at AKL thats been on there for almost a year.

Anyone else ever had this happen? Im guessing I'll need to call customer service, but i'd love some input from you guys.

What are your travel dates? Are you an annual pass holder? I can only book 30 days out right now until my 60 window opens up later this month for my November BWV Stay. Hmmmm!!! Maybe someone here will know the answer. awesome

Oct 20-29... so my 60 day window is Aug 21

Not an AP holder. I bought a 10 day pass.

Everyone can book 30 days out if you have a valid pass. Once you hit your 60 day window later this month, you'll be able to book FP's for your October stay. It should come up automatically since you have it all in your MDE and you're staying on site. awesome

Got it... that makes sense. So when Aug 21st hits, will I be able to book my entire trips worth of fastpasses OR will I only be able to book 1 day / my first day Oct 20th?

You'll be able to book FP's for every day of your trip at the 60 day mark. That's one of the main benefits of staying at a WDW resort. Have fun!

Got it! Very cool. I haven't been to the world since 2012, so this is all new territory for me. I wish we could be a bit more spontaneous, but it is what it is Smile

It's set up so that the longer you stay the better choices you have. So for example if you are going for two weeks from January 1 - January 14th you'd be able to book all your ADRS and Fast Passes for the whole trip while the person only staying for one week from January 7th to January 14th would have to wait an entire extra week before they could start to book their reservations even though it's for the same time period. So you could have some of the best reservations, especially in that second week over the person who has to wait an additional week.

On my bucket list - Plan a two week vacation.

Yup, that makes sense. Were there for 10 days, & avoiding RED days at the parks, so hopefully we'll get everything we want!

In our case we did not book a "package" - we initially booked just a room and then added on tickets. Both show up in MDE but since it is not a "package" FP+ will not be available until 30 days out. I'll try calling customer service and see if there is anything that can be done. We have yet to use FP+ so I'm a little concerned about "piecing together" our trip. We've been to WDW many, many times so worst case scenario we just do our "usual" thing...ENJOY ourselves!! awesome

Having a package or not shouldn't make a difference. As long you have a room reservation and ticket linked to your account, you should be able to make FP+ at 60 days out. Last October I had a room only reservation and an annual pass and was able to make fast passes at 60 days.

Thanks for the confirmation about the 60 day window. It required IT help from the MDE folks but they were able to fix my record so that the system allowed me to make FP+ ressies. Things are falling in place for our Oct trip!! yay
