I've posted most of this on another sight, but I'm posting it here to let you know a little about myself and my family. It all started back late last August on the 3rd day of school when my son broke his arm in 2 places and all he asked for before going into surgery was his math homework and a trip to Disney. What's a mom to do but start planning the next day after having to tell him he would have to miss one day of school (he tried to sneak out to go after getting home after midnight). First up was where were we going to stay, knowing out of pocket for the arm would make staying on sight a little much we decided to rent a condo right off property in Emerald Isle. We have used that company before and had a wonderful experience so we booked June 8th- June 20th first call and deposit made. Next came Sandy, no power!!!! I had flashlights, planning books and pen and paper ready to start our planning in earnest. Now all I had to do was wait for the 180 day mark. Staying off sight meant being on the phone at 7am every morning but we got all the ADRs and times we wanted. Walt himself must have been smiling down on us as we even got Be Our Guest for the day and time we wanted. Then a long hard winter of waiting and packing until finally on June 7th we hit the road at 6am heading south as a tropical storm was heading north. Nothing and I mean nothing was going to stop us. So we headed west on 80 all the way to 81 south and didn't see any sun until South Carolina but who cared we were on our way to Disney. We made it to Brunswick Ga. to get a bit of sleep before being on the road as the sun was coming up! DTD and shopping here I come!
August 2016 here we come!
it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Then over to Club Cool and lucky for me they were out of Beverly LOL. For dinner we headed back over to World Showcase to my favorite place back there the Tangerine Cafe. We strolled around back there and explored for a while. I better not forget I stopped for a Grey Goose Slush and then back to FW to ride TT after dark and Spaceship Earth.
