CSR had wi fi but it was only in the common areas like the pool, main building and lounge. It was the same price, $9.95 for 24 contiguous hours or $4.95 per hour.
Wait - they charged you for wireless? I thought it was going to be free?
This past weekend it was not working at the Boardwalk.
We've stayed at:
Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Beach/Yacht Club, Old Key West Resort, Port Orleans (Riverside & French Quarter), Coronado Springs, Boardwalk Inn, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, All Star (Music & Sports).
This past weekend it was not working at the Boardwalk.
It is working great at Saratoga Springs. The signal strength shows up as excellent.
The signal was good while we were at SSR too, but I'll be danged if I could get it to connect to my laptop, but the Ipad and Iphone had no problem.
Interesting. I just had a simliar problem in WV while visiting family. They both have Macs, and I have a PC, and it would NOT stay connected to their wifi for love nor money. My iPhone - no problem. I chalked it up to a compatibility issue, but boy, was it annoying.
We will find out for AKL come Sunday. Ill have my Mac, iPad, and iPhone. I think Jess will be taking her laptop which is a PC. My parents will have theres as well and not sure if my son is taking his minilaptop either. So we will have a bunch of things to try out.

No, that was the price before it was free.
According to this article Pop Century now has free wi-fi. yay!!!
"Pop Century gets free WiFi
Last week, we reported that Disney had filed permits to install property-wide WiFi. It's uncertain whether or not this is related, but we are hearing reports from some guests that free WiFi is now available at Disney's Pop Century Resort. It now seems only a matter of time before all resorts offer free WiFi access.
It's thought that Disney originally didn't want to encourage guests to be on the Internet because they'd rather have them in the parks, restaurants, and stores spending money. However, with the recent push to include social media networking in the guest experience, Disney may have decided that having people be able to post photos while they're on their trip (and perhaps access their Next Generation Initiative reservations once that function comes online) is even better free marketing. In any case, watch for free WiFi to become available at the few resorts that do not yet offer it."
