Heading home - full report coming soon! **2 Photos Added**

Well, our trip is over - boo! We had a great time, but left the World this morning @ 10:00 am.

A few quick highlights:
- the weather! Low to mid 70's and sunny. Rained Sunday am for 15 minutes, but then cleared up. It did get chilly when the sun set.
- our room! Nice, quiet. Really liking the POFQ a lot after 2 stays there.
- red velvet cheesecake cupcake from Starring Rolls. Oh my (and yes, I have pics!)
- Osborne lights we're amazing, as was MVMCP.

And lowlights:
- Tangled 3D. And it has nothing to do with the movie itself
- HS turnstyle (sp) malfunction!
- one of us lost his Disney Rewards Visa (hint: his name starts with J and does not rhyme with Toe)

We have 250+ pics to go through, so plenty to share!

I'll get working on the full report when we get home this evening. Also have perspective on Best Friends Pet Resort.

We allowed for 10 hours from Charlotte to WDW, but it only took 8.5 down. Hoping for the same to get home!

So glad you had a great time! Yes, weather was perfect...thought of y'all and hoped you were enjoying yourselves. Can't wait to see pics and hear about that CUPCAKE.

I didn't wear those shoes - just my regular tennis shoes. Joe got lots of attention and comments with those. Even had one small tyke come over in a line que and just sit on the ground and start playing with his toes. The parent was mortified. laugh

What a wonderful account! I can't wait to see yours as well, Jeff, and compare the two. I imagine you'll sort of fill in the details? I'm so glad you got to go and see the gbread houses at some of the resorts, too!

Yep! I am leaving Tuesday, checking into our hotel Thursday! I'm so excited that it's been hard not to talk about it non-stop (thus, ruining the surprise for my cousin's little kids, who have no idea)! Can't wait to be there Smile

BTW, sorry for the late post! I just got done with finals week!

Thanks! I'm so excited to see everyone that I worked with! I also cannot wait to show my family around! I already warned them if I get too annoying with all my Disney facts that they can just leave me on It's a Small World Smile

We only get to go for few days because I'll be flying to Chicago next Wednesday and have to get things ready for that trip! We check into our hotel (off property- Hilton Grand Vacation Suites on I-Drive) on Thursday (we're gonna try to check in on Wednesday though) and we have to check out on the 26th which is Sunday!

and yes, cdub, I could definitely give a pretty great tour of the parks, as I'm sure we all could! haha

TDGar, when you were a CM did you find that most of the other CMs were as into Disney as you were, or were many of them just more into entertainment?

I actually was not a huge Disney fan until I worked there! It really is a great company from the ground up! Most of the CM's that I worked with were obsessed with Disney and everything it included. We even have an acronym: MLID, my life is Disney. haha So to answer your question: Definitely yes (although you do have some scrooges that spoil everyones good days).
