Hello! Disney geek from Seattle

Hello fellow Disney grownups,

My name is Emily. I'm a proud Disney geek. mickey It's awesome to find other adults who share the same passion.

My favorite Disney movies are Wall-e, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp, and Hunchback of Notre Dame.

My husband and I went to Disney World for our honeymoon. We vowed we'd make a trip back there for our 5 year anniversary.

And now that time has come. In May, we'll be going for 6 days, 5 nights and staying at Port Orleans - Riverside. (We were originally going to stay at Art of Animation. With the spring discount they just announced, a moderate resort is now in our budget! ^o^). I'm betting this will be the last trip where it's just the two of us since we wanna have kids within the next few years.

Can't wait to chat with all of you! awesome

We actually stayed at All Star Music for our honeymoon. We enjoyed it just fine, but I won't miss having to share a bus with 2 other hotels. >_<
Yes, we're using the dinning plan. We already made all our table service reservations too.
Ahh yes, the buttons! I look forward to wearing those around again. Having all the cast members tell us "congratulations" never really got old

Yes, you're totally right about the buses...you are SO gonna love having a bus all you're own!

Where are you eating? We love to live vicariously through other people's dining reservations! ha!!

congrats on your anniversary what a great place to celebrate
You'll be checking out the new Fantasyland I assume ready for when the babies come along Wink

There's a lot of bus stops at Riverside so depending where you room is you may have a few stops to make - all part of the vacation though chatting to foreigners on the bus laugh

Which restaurant have you chose for your anniversary meal??

Glad you joined us, Emily! You will LOVE Riverside! It is a gorgeous resort. The pool is great and the food court at The Mill has a vast variety. Are you staying in the mansion section called "Magnolia Bend" or "Alligator Bayou"?
