Thank you all for the warm welcomes! Let's see, Kris, you asked me to mention some of my faves at Disney. I love the Haunted Mansion and anything to do with the Nightmare Before Christmas, Pirates of the Caribbean (ride & movies), love all the parks - my fave being Epcot. And I must admit I am a huge Off Kilter fan! You can usually find me hanging around their stage when I'm at Epcot. 
It's also one of my favorite times of the year -I love fall (for one thing it cools off down here. Yeah!), but I love the Food & Wine festival, the Mickey's NSSHP & just all the decorations & fun during the holidays!

You need to take a trip to Disneyland for that! They do so much more seasonal stuff there because most of their guests are local and they need to keep it fresh. Every fall the Haunted Mansion gets a Nightmare Before Christmas overlay and I've heard that it's fantastic.

I also am a huge Haunted Mansion fan.. I love everything about the ride and the building! I just got back and picked
fall to visit Disney because it's my favorite time of year up here in Michigan and I couldn't wait to see the MK decked out in pumpkins... I have to admit your heat/humidity took awhile for me to adjust too..its 45 here today and it was an easy 88 with 97% humidity there just 2 days ago! Talk about a temperature change!
Now, if there was only someway you could get Disney to put the monorail track straight to your place so you can avoid that traffic!
