Hello from Georgia!

Hi! My name is Laura and I'm a Disney-phile. They say the first step is admitting you have a problem, so here I am. wink

I currently live with my husband of 4 years and our dog just northwest of Atlanta, and I try to convince him (my husband, not my dog) to go to WDW every year. I usually don't win, but we still go pretty regularly. We've been on "grown up only" trips 3 times in the past 6 years, and I've been with family a few times in between, so I'm getting my fix!

I think I may be leaving this forum as quickly as I came, however, as we are expecting our first child in June! Wondering how I'm going to shift my thinking from WDW for grownups, to WDW with small children... confused

Anyhoo...I'm happy to be here, and I can't wait to get involved! "C" ya real soon!

welcome Laura to our little piece of Disney heaven. Never fear, you will not have to leave the world of WDWFG just because you have a little one. That is just someone that you will be able to indoctrinate, introduce and educate about all things Disney. mickey

Hi and welcome and congratulations! I'm in the same boat, expecting our first in August but can't wait until our little one is old enough to take to the World! We'll get to experience it through a whole new set of eyes!

Welcome to our Disney haven! Feel free to stick around even w a little one, most of us have them, we just appreciate Disney from an adult perspective, more than just princesses and pirates, although they are important too! I personally have 3 teenagers and they have been raised with Disney as their playground, they just don't realize how lucky they are. Disney is a great place to make memories, no matter the size and age of your family. Be prepared to learn more about Disney than you ever thought possible, and make some great Disney friends.

welcome and congrats on your upcoming addition. I have two girls and have never taken a grown up only trip, but I think I love Disney more than my girls so I figured this was a good place to join.
