Howdy!!

Hello All!! I am new to posting, but I have been trolling/stalking for a few years. I love reading everyones trip reports and looking at all the pictures. I have been to Disney World a few times and can't wait to go back. I will have dozens of questions to ask about my upcoming trip because it will be a Surf and Turf trip that I can't wait to start planning.

Thank you all in advance for all the great advice I know I will receive.

Thank you for all the fantastic Welcomes!!! This group is great!!!! awesome

We have already booked on the Dream for a 3 night cruise in May and then we plan on staying at the World for 4 nights. We will most likely stay at Pop Century because we haven't stayed there yet and are kind of done with All Star. Don't get me wrong, I like the All Star resorts, but they are a little too crowded on the buses. I really want to stay at Poly or Beach Club but it isn't in the budget this time. We have considered Moderates, but feel that they are too spread out for us. We (DH and I) are both in our 40s but already have some health issues so we need to be close to the bus areas.

I have convinced DH to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary (we are only coming up on 15 years in 2014) by doing a vow renewal at WDW. muchlove He has no clue that I have the whole thing already planned!! rolling

My hubby and I are celebrating 15 years this December, and I've started planning a Disney vow renewal for our 20th in 2018! I love that you think that far in advance too!

Hey MommaJG...Pop is great. I think you'll like it a lot, but if you ever do decide you want to do a moderate, give Port Orleans French Quarter a try. Its so quaint and quite a bit smaller than the other moderate resorts, and you can even request the building you want to stay in (I suggest Bldg 3) as it is a very short walk to the lobby, food court and bus stop. Oh and it only has one bus stop, which makes me love it even more!

At the moment I'm looking at 3 nights at Bay Lake Tower with a fireworks viewing party, followed by a 4 night Disney Cruise. The actual vow renewal would be on the cruise. Our Anniversary is in December, but we're thinking October would be the best time for us to do this because many of our friends go down for opening weekend of Food & Wine festival anyhow and they could simply add a couple of nights for our party and maybe join us on the cruise!

Excited about your vow renewal! It's neat that Kristen's planning one, too! My dh and I have been married 14 years, so is it too soon to start planning MY 20th?? Smile
