I 95 Lane closure.

Just a warning for anyone driving NORTHBOUND coming back from WDW that I 95 in S Carolina will have one lane closed till Approx. 14 Nov. It will be on the bridge over Lake Marion in Santee SC. Traffic will be limited to 45 MPH 24 hrs. a day till then, and it is expected to cause some delay, especially because as authorities have stated there is no quick detour around it. Someone from SC may know more about it, but this is just a heads up. I will look for it as I fly over it on my way to the World on 1 Nov. laugh

No worries, there is usually always One place in SC that is down to one lane for sometime at least , every trip we take!

So it's effective immediately? We'll be heading to WV sometime during October, and this is the route we take...woot! Scratch that! Just checked Google maps, and it's north of I-26. We take 95-26-77 home, so it won't be a problem.

Care to check that route for us, Vettelover? biggrin

Beautiful and perfect! I started to delete my silly response above when I realized it didn't impact us (unless there's a wicked back up of course) but then I thought you'd laugh at my blond moment. I've only traveled that route 1050 times and could do it in my sleep, but still forgot for a second that we didn't go that far on I-95 biggrin

Exactly..we are special here in South Carolina and roadwork seems to always happens on major highways..especially during the holidays. Groan.

However, they usually work on it at night so it might not be SO bad.
