It's wrong to be this excited at my age! Dining Reservation fun!

So, yesterday we passed our 180 day marker! YAAAAAAAYYYYY clapping
Every day for the next 8 days I get to book at table (or two) at each of our favourite restaurants at WDW - and IT'S FREAKIN' GREAT!

I've booked our first tables at the Sci-Fi Dine in theatre (being a SFX fan it's heaven) and the Restaurant San Angel so far, and ill be booking one a day for the rest of the week!

Is it wrong to be this excited SIX MONTHS off a holiday? I mean, we still have two holidays this year to get through yet, but I can't stop thinking and day dreaming about all the fun stuff we're going to do at the end of next January!

Do you know if you have a reservation at a Disney resort, you know don't have to wait, you can book ADR's for up to 10 days at your 180 mark.

And nope, not a thing wrong with it at all. Heck Scrappy and I just got back 2 weeks ago and she was having a ball last night booking ADR's , it was our 180 mark too for our January trip.

Booking the dining is half the fun! I am constantly changing my dining though. Just today I cancelled 3 ADR's for my trip because I had too many for the DDP.

If you are staying on property, like mrhub said, you get 180 PLUS 10! So that you can book all of your ADR's at the same time!

I agree with all of the above. You're NEVER too old, and it's NEVER too soon, to get excited about a Disney World vacation.

Art I have been planning my trip for well over a year and I am so excited that I can't stand it. Only 61 days until it's magic time.

Glad it's not just me then! laugh

Unfortunately we're not staying on resort (one day.....) so it's one a day for us to do - I see it as spreading the fun yay

I love making ADR's! I'm very excited to eat at BOG for the first time in 12 days1 stars clapping yay
Then in January we are eating at Le Cellier for the first time for DB birthday dinner. yay clapping stars
Soon I get to book my birthday dinner which will be a character one because I want to get the photopass+ to use for my birthday since I am looking at getting made into a pirate or mermaid. I get to experience the magic almost everyday and I still get excited for dining reservations and everything.

The day I outgrow Disney is the day I die.

Or maybe not. If I can work things with God so he'll let me haunt the Haunted Mansion, I'm gonna do it. So look for me there, young'uns, in a few decades.

Oh please let me know how BOG turned out for you. I am very much hoping to eat there in March but have to wait til Sept to make ADRs. Cannot wait to make ADRs!

I will. I think I know the dessert I will get if we have the money for it since we are paying out of pocket. I really hope Beast is there but I think he is there most of the time.

Beast is there all the time time Mandy for the dinner hour. He is not there during the counter service times.

We did BOG both ways this trip, lunch & dinner. Not impressed with the lunch time, but we were doing the Beta testing and it totally flopped! The food was like it was sitting for half an hour and it was at our table within minutes of ordering. I'll say more in our trip report when I get to it this weekend.

I was not a beta tester for this new system, but that sorta describes my lunch experience too last November. Food was kinda cold, a bit dry (mahi mahi kids menu), and came out really fast. I figured they had some things to smoothe out, being a new place.

I'm thinking the Grey Stuff. I thought Beast was there all the time since its his new location but they don't guarantee he's there and BOG is not a character meet and greet location.
