Lunch at Chef Mickey's

So, I've been hearing that they've opened up lunch at Chef Mickey's this summer/fall. Has anyone heard this/booked it?

I have booked several meals at Chef Mickey's...and made it to almost none of them...

Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace for whatever reason are the places that always get canceled because I'm too full or want to sleep in or whatever.

I haven't heard this, but I'd be interested to know. I've always though Chef Mickey's would be a great place for lunch, especially if you spend the morning at MK.

According to Allearsnet.com, they are still doing only breakfast and dinner, but I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

Speaking of Chef Mickey's, several years ago we were in line for dinner and the photographer came up to take a picture. One of us had a University of Kentucky shirt on, and he remarked that he was from Indiana, but had relatives in Kentucky.

Came to find out that his relatives were from my hometown, and he was a distant cousin!

It's a small world...

After all...

Just found this on DisBoards--that seems to be the only place talking about it now.

Looks like Chef Mickey's is open for lunch during the high-demand "free dining" period this fall.

There's a joke here about everyone being distant cousins in Kentucky...but I feel like it's too easy! silly

Oh-that's exciting! I wonder if they'll keep it on after the free dining period...

We just take those and insert "Tennessee" whenever we see them.
