Most romantic room decor at WDW?

Which resort do you think has the most romantic decor? Not the most romantic HOTEL, mind you, but the most romantic decor? Just popped into my head the other day as I was thinking about DW and my vow renewal mickey

I've only seen the poly rooms from the outside, but they look nice. Animal Kingdom Lodge rooms are kind of nice too.

I like AKL. I find it really relaxing, plus the animals outside make it really nice to just sit on the balcony and relax.

We really like POR, the gardens are so lush and the walkways along the Sassagoula are a very nice walk. Also the ferry to DTD is very romantic, especailly in the evening. I remember one trip from DTD back to POR, there was a huge thunderstorm over the Gulf of Mexico and we could see the lightening off in the distance and hear the thunder rumbling, it was very romantic.

My nod would also go to AKL Jambo House savana view. We fell in love with it after our last trip there in Jan. We could spend hours out there watching the animals.

I like all these suggestions. I will also say that the Boardwalk rooms with views of their gardens are really nice and relaxing. The room decor itself however is kind of bland.

I really like CSR and the Port Orleans hotels. I'd definitely have to say that I think CBR is the least romantic moderate.

The actual room decor that the most romantic would be a tie b/w THE BOARDWALK INN. Love the Edwardian style they used and THE GRAND FLORIDIAN. If you love Victorian style, it is there in abundance.

I do love the Boardwalk Inn and also the Port Orleans Resorts. We went to POFQ for our honeymoon and it was very romantic walking around! My husband might think All-Star Sports is the most romantic! laugh

I love love love Grand Floridian... However when I think romantic, I tend to think tropical, so I'm going to put my vote in for a MK view room at the Polynesian.

I find the Boardwalk a really good environment for romance, but I think I'd have to pick AKL. Call me crazy but that theme seems very...exotic, which works for me.

after staying at both AKL and POR. My vote goes for AKL for the all over most romantic. POR had the most romantic "grounds." but when looking at the whole package...AKL had nice rooms, a beautiful view if you got the savannah view, fantastic pool, WONDERFUL DINING!, a nice lounge, and just great ambience.

I think WL is very romantic. The lobby with the water gorgeous and having dinner at Artist Point. So quiet and beautiful mural on the wall. Riding a boat to MK.

I may change my vote. WL has all the plusses of AKL and is a bit less "formal." Although I think Jiko is more romantic than Artist Point so I'm not sure...

POR is my favorite "moderate" resort. Love the gardens, azelea bushes are gorgeous! We always stay in the "Mansion" section, in Magnolia Bend. We've stayed at "Oak Manor" and "Acadian House". I fell so much in love with the azeleas there that when we got home, the kids and I planted a bunch in our yard. Trying to bring back a little "Disney Magic" to our house.

I think at Port Orleans Riverside is pretty romantic looking. I saw pictures of the southern mansion style rooms and they looked beautiful. Also the setting just has that feel of romance. The pretty river, the gardens, the carriage rides. I think if I wanted romance that this resort would be the place to find it

I absolutely LOVE the lobby at WL. I could grab a book and sit there for HOURS. I don't know what it is. I think they just did a fantastic job of capturing the Pacific Northwest Lodge vibe there.

Someone posted a picture of the honeymoon suite at the Poly and it's literally the most gorgeous room that i've seen on a disney property. I'm posting the link below.. Hope it works.. I didn't bother to call and ask what the cost was per night for this room assuming it was above and beyond my budget... Plus we have our hearts set on staying at WL!

We like WL because the rooms are really nice and there are lots of little nooks and crannies for couples to sit and relax... Lots of little area's that have fireplaces and places to sit.

I've been to boardwalk and the rooms there are also very beautiful... Almost stayed at POR....

There are just too many choices!
