The Must List...

Good Morning All...Well my 2014 Passporter's book arrived this morning,so later on it will be getting a good reading with a coffee, of course..Anyway I was looking at my 2012 planning book and noticed I had put " My Must " list into 3 sections..Section 1 for "must try"( food/snack/drink )..Section 2 "must see"( parades/shows ) and Section 3 "must go on" ( rides/attractions )... So for this year my must try 1 is a Lapu Lapu at the Poly..Section 2 is The Dapper Dans and Mickeys jamming jungle parade...And section 3 is Dinosaur at AK ...These are all new to me..Yes it's true, I've yet to see The Dappers..So have you any new things on your list for either this year or next...P.S..I'am not a lover of roller coasters but I may, just may, try Snow Whites Dwarf Express..( fingers crossed it's still not open by October ) eek

Yes I have a must do list for my trips to Disney but for me they are usually checking out a resort that I have never been to and this year Boardwalk will be the resort and eating at least a 2 new restuarants one at a resort and one at one of the parks. This May I will be eating at Be our Guest; Garden Grill; Hollywood and Vine and California Grill (which I had been to before but not since it was re-done. And like you I really don't do roller coaster although I love Thunder Mountain, have done Space Mountain 3 times and last year did Mount Everest which I liked. So maybe i should say I don't do roller coaster that have a harness and nothing good comes from that. laugh

I have a huge must do list for our next trip, but not all Disney related.
Lapu Lapu is on my must dos, as is eating at Be Our Guest.
Attractions wise, I have never been on the Paddle Steamer (is it the Mark Twain) and of course have to go on all the new stuff in expanded Fantasyland. Want to get the children signed up to Jedi training, and want to do the Sorcerers of MK.
Also on my must dos is a trip to JellyRolls or at the very least some grownup time.
But St Augustine, Clearwater, a visit to a state park or a swim with manatees and KSC are also on my non Disney must do list.

I have a few things on our must do list. I want to try a few new places to eat. We have Narcoosse's and California Grill on the list. I also want to check out Animal Kingdom Lodge. I want to stay there next year and I want to check it out beforehand. Soarin is on my list for new rides to try. We skipped it last year and everyone told us that we really missed out on a great ride.

Food:
This is my biggest one since I didn't have any real knowledge of what all food Disney has to offer last time I was there, but my #1 is probably the Carrot Cake Cookie from Writer's Stop!! Also a Dole Whip (float? Maybe??)!! Those are the biggies, haha. Oh, and eating at Beaches & Cream. It's the one table service restaurant I know fo' sho' I'll be doing.

Shows:
Shows aren't something we made a priority last year, so properly seeing Wishes is a must. And the Main Street Electrical Parade! Also want to see Fantasmic, and I think Festival of Fantasy will be running when I go in September.

Rides/Attractions:
Splash Mountain (was closed for refurb last Feb)
Space Mountain (my not riding that is a... long story)
Toy Story Midway Mania
7 Dwarfs Mine Train (as it should be open then!!)

Hmm...I have 2016-18 in mind for my next Disney trip where hopefully, Disney Springs will be done, Avatar Land will be complete and all that MM+/FP+ fiascos are sorted out. But anyway, in terms of my must do list for next time:

Must rides/attractions
Haunted Mansion
Muppetvision

Must see shows
Off Kilter
Fantasmic
Dapper Dans

Must eats
Tonga Toast!
African stew at Mara
Get the naan appetizer and butter chicken from Sanaa
Anything from Boma
Try 50s Prime Time food (Though I'll probably find myself eating their food at the Tune In Lounge for that. Don't want to waste an ADR or wait very long for that.)
Columbia Harbour House
Cookes of Dublin
The Plaza
Yorkshire County Fish Shop
Via Napoli

There's a lot of more must eats for me so I had to limit it to my ten biggest ones!

This many years later, I have some musts on my list, simply because they're the few I've never done. I made a list for our September trip ...

Aladdin's Carpets
A Character Breakfast
Winnie the Pooh
Kali River Rapids
Rockin' Roller Coaster
Illuminations

(I've never done Dumbo either, but I don't much care to bother.)

We have a lot more parades and fireworks show on our must do list this year because my sisters really want to catch as many of these as we can. DH and I normally don't put these as a priority on our list to see, so a lot of it will be new to us, as well. My new "must do's" for me this year include a Lapu Lapu, cappuccino cupcake at Pizza Planet, and the Mine Ride!

Must do that I've never done:

Doing my first Disney Cruise.
I'm going to try to score a couple of nights at VGF (fingers crossed).
I wanna try Spice Market.
Raglan Road- food, beer, a little show in a pub atmosphere and I see they have music outside sometimes. I have to try it.
If I get a rainy day, I'm gonna try to bowl or see a movie.
Food trucks at DTD.

Oh well, that's six.
