Via Napoli

I've been really interested in seeing the upcoming Italian pizzeria. If it's similar to the one in Disneyland, then a large pizza is $45 and an individual pizza is $17. Obviously that's pretty pricey pizza. Will this keep you from trying it?

While I agree that is pricey pizza, I am sure we will give it a try. Of course, the price is not important when you are on the dinning plan. I am sure we would probably give it try even without the plan but there is usually only the two of us. I would probably not consider it going with a family and paying out of pocket though.

Great point about the dining plan, scrappy! I never thought of that!

We'll most likely try it -- we LOVE pizza and have been disappointed in the options at WDW so far. This stuff is supposed to be pretty good, so...

I can only speak for myself and DW, but there is something to be said for 'high end' pizza. Having a pizza with fresh, often unique ingredients is a whole different experience from your average processed junk delivery pizza. If they are high quality and relatively unique, I wouldn't mind the price (though it would likely be on the DDP).

I always use the dining plan so I would definitely go for some pizza. By the time I leave Disney I'm always craving some good Italian! I'm in northern NJ (15 miles from Manhattan) and Italian food elsewhere just tastes like Chef Boyardee to me. Hopefully some fresh pizza here would do the trick! I had eaten at Alfredo a while back (yak- ick- blech) and have not done Disney Italian since.

The dining plan is a really good point. I guess if it's one table service credit you should be able to get full on pizza for a reasonable price. We never do the dining plan (because we always do AP discounts and tables in wonderland instead of free dining.) I suspect that will make life easier on those who want to visit Via Napoli.

Of course we're willing to drive a long way AND pay a lot for good pizza. Dallas is a pizza wasteland. waiting

Wait! What's wrong with Chef Boyardee?!? sad laugh

Seriously, though, Alfredo's was NOT my favorite, and Tutto is slightly better, but I still don't love it. Looking forward to some good pizza in the World, to be sure.
