We just bought our first 150 poonts. BLT is our home resort.

Thank you all for your warm welcome.
We have our first trip planned for our aniversary in November. We have never stayed at BLT.
we were last at WDW 5 years ago and stayed at the Poly. BLT was under construction then.
It was a long 5 years, but we were able to pay cash for our points. so now we are plannin to take one trip one year and 2 trips the following year. (Guess we are making up for lost time).
Right now we are busy trying to figure out which ADR's to make. Does anyone have a review of "Be Our Guest"? It sounds fun, but the guide book does not really go into detail on it.

There is a website call Disney Food Blog and they do reviews on all the restaurants and I know they reviewed Be Our Guest.

Be Our Guest is a favorite among many, but not us. My steak was ok, way too peppered. Nothing on the menu that my kids would eat, DH liked his food, but would never order it again. We probably won't be back very often, if ever. Just depends on whether or not anyone we travel with wants to eat there.

I should have mentioned the positive also. BOG was absolutely gorgeous and the service was incredible. The Beast is awesome! I have to remember to input the positive with the negative!

We visited BLT on our last vacation, what a view!!! The resort is gorgeous, and just a walk away from the magic Welcome and congratulations.

Our trip to the Poly was not our first trip to WDW. It was the 3rd time for my wife and I, but the first with just the 2 of us. The others included the kids.
I have been going to WDW since 1972, when My parents took all of kids. From then on it was every other year for the family vacation. So I definitely a WDW addict.
The trip to the Poly was the one where my wife became a WDW addict.
We had hoped to purchase DVC sooner, but life got in the way. But the 5 year wait and the overcoming of some health issues has made the purchase all the more sweeter.
can't wait until our first trip home in November. I can't think of a better way to celebrate 30 years of marriage.
