New Disney Springs Restaurants on The Dining Plan?

Has anyone heard any rumors on whether the new restaurants opening up in Disney Springs this spring/summer will be taking the Dining Plan? I'm particularly interested in STL Orlando and Frontera Cocina.

I know the Boathouse takes DDP - does Morimoto Asia?

I've heard that BB Wolf's Sausage Co. is accepting DDP - not sure about anywhere else though.

I've not seen anything yet. I'm patiently waiting on them to show up for ADRs.

I did score a reservation for Oct at STK, I can't wait even with the fact that restaurant menus without prices scare me....

I did some price research on other STK location prices yesterday. eek OUCH!

When I guessed what I thought my son and I would order and it came to about $250 including drinks. After a couple of hours pouring over Disney menus and running numbers I think STK being on the DDP or not is going to make the difference in if I go that route.

I keep going back and forth on if I want to do the DDP or not for September.

I checked a couple of the other locations and still could not find prices. Where did you look??? Since we are not "celebrating" anything, I find it hard to spend that much. Although October is very close to my birthday LOL

Yes they are. The Deluxe Burger is actually a QS credit which I was pretty shocked about considering it is a sit down table to service restaurant. And the Aristocrepes is also excepting it, you get a crepe and two drinks, but I can't remember if they said it was a snack or a QS credit for that. I have to tell you I saw some pictures from the sausages at B.B. Wolf and they look super yummy!

I saw that on DFB - the 2 drinks thing because they don't offer any sides or desserts. I'm not sure what I think of that.

I saw this too we are on QSDP in September and I have said I think I'm just gonna allow myself a little budget and get myself a couple of items from BB Wolfs, Aristocrepes and Daily Poutine rather than using QS Credits because I think its a bit of a waste especially seen as the drinks aren't anything exciting

I think that sounds like a good idea too. I already have to have an extra food budget more than the dining plan, these will just be one more thing.

We had to add a bit to our budget for DS also. We kind of plan on maybe visiting some food trucks and the smokehouse while there. I thought about booking new dining, but decided I'd rather just relax and wander while there so we kept it casual. I'm looking forward to hearing about people's experiences at STK and Morimoto though. Maybe next trip we would consider it.

IDK if anyone watches TheTimTracker on Youtube, but him and his wife Jenn do a lot of the parks and they try to hit all the new stuff. They went to STK opening night and gave a review and showed the food. They said it was very good, but very expensive and loud. They live right in Orlando so they said it might be a once a year thing. In their opinion the Boathouse is better and you get the same stuff for less cost, and its usually a walk in restaurant.

There is a quieter upstairs dining room which is also more casual than downstairs and also an outside deck upstairs that is quieter also if anyone is interested in eating without the loud dj. I hear it gets very loud and dancing is encouraged downstairs!!!

I actually ended up canceling my STK reservation for September. At those prices it seems like something I should be doing on a trip with my husband instead of with my son. Luckily there is no shortage of replacement options!

I am also cancelling my STK (well I would if it showed up on Open Table) when I get out there not because of the cost just because I have heard it is noisy. I don't want loud when I eat, I want to talk to my companions so we are going back to The Boathouse which is one of our favorite places to eat

The downstairs is very noisy from what I've heard. Just ask to be seated in the upstairs dining room. They don't play the loud DJ music up there!!!
